10/10I liked the concept: supporting small, local vendors whilst showcasing Portuguese cuisine. The manager was incredibly warm, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. The food itself was balanced, satisfying and fresh. The atmosphere was welcoming and zen. We would definitely recommend a lunch here.

9.5/10Very nice little place away from the typical tourist restaurants of Lisbon. If you want to try a small but very fine selection of authentic Portuguese dishes with above-average friendly service, you have to come here.

10/10We ate early so were the first couple and had the waiter all to ourselves before the restaurant filled up. The waiter was quite personable and knowledgeable and explained everything well. The room was very quiet but only got a bit noisy by the end of the meal. All courses were superb as well as the wine, especially the white port. Would come again.

5.5/10Can't speak to lunch but the dinner was disappointing for the price. You start with a cheese and port wine course which was good. The croquettes were probably the highlight, especially the alheira one. At that point the next two courses are the salads and mains. The salads are tuna or half a sardine over a bed of chickpeas. The mains are cod and potatoes or beef cubes in a tomato sauce and sweet potato chips/crisps. Both were fine but for the price I pretty underwhelming. The lime tart desert was alright. For the price point there are better restaurants of the same cuisine more outside the touristy area. Seemed mainly tourists were eating there. Service was good if a little inattentive for the number of tables being served, I would have had another glass of wine if offered.

We appreciate your visit and compliments, however we clarify that the price we charge is proportional to the quality of the ingredients from carefully selected producers. For example: premium brand Port wine, cheese aged 24 months from the Azores, award-winning olive oil, salads that use special caned fish in bio oil and boneless sardines, fillet of the best cod available on the market, premium meat, as well as dessert specially prepared by a small artisan pastry shop. If you think that all this with differentiated service for €38.50 is expensive, we respect it, but we cannot offer quality at a low cost, much less agree with the grade given.

10/10Sto was a fantastic find. The staff is welcoming and the space though small is very comfortable. The restaurant focuses on Portuguese ingredients and products, which are masterfully assembled by the kitchen to create delicious dishes that give the diner a true sense of the wonder of Portuguese cuisine. The wine pairings suggested by our server were also top-notch. Sto has a food shop as part of the space that sells Portuguese food and wine. We plan on going back before we head home, it's that good.

10/10What a gem we found in STŌ Restaurante & Mercearia! Beyond the food, it was a culinary journey with owner Jorge who shared where items from the 5 course tasting menu were sourced. So many flavors; especially enjoyed the white meat croquettes, beef in Portuguese tomato sauce, cod braga style, and the lime tart. All delicious and a fun night out.

10/10Fabulous dinner. Fixed price menu with 2 options for each course. The host explained each course as food was brought to the table. Dinner started with a white port which was exquisite. We also ordered a glass of Portuguese wine with dinner based on the host’s recommendation. Selections went very well with our meal. Would definitely go again next time we are in Lisbon!

10/10We hat a great dinner at STO and extraordinary great and very friendly service. We got detailed explanations on the dishes and a great wine recommendation. Everything was perfect. The taste of each course was excellent and we liked the combination of the freshly prepared ingredients. We highly recommend STO. Unfortunately our home is 2000km away!
