The reviews don’t lie about this place. The food was amazing and having the chef and owner help wait in you was fantastic. He is passionate and friendly. We took his advice and even asked if he could combine the porcini mushroom and truffle pasta which he did. He decanted our wine did us and the best local dessert was had at the end - BonBon? The prices were good and he even let my wife go back to the kitchen to take a picture of them preparing the food. Complementary homemade limoncello made the dinner complete. Moto Bene!!

I originally booked Stuzzico By Lucius purely for its convenient location near my concert venue — but what a fantastic surprise it turned out to be! From the moment we arrived, the owner made us felt welcome with his warm and gracious hospitality. The atmosphere is relaxed but attentive, and you can tell there’s real care put into both the food and the service. As for the meal itself — absolutely superb. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, full of flavor, and beautifully presented; it was excellent dining experience. And the value? Outstanding. High-quality food and generous hospitality at a very fair price. If you find yourself in Pompeii, this place should be on your list. A true gem.

Fabulous authentic Italian food and wine . Pasta Cheese limoncello tiramisu what’s not to love. Staff warm and friendly -a slice of local life. Thank you for such an enjoyable family evening

Lots of locals eat here and nice welcome and ambience but then the chef scoffed the request from my wife for Parmesan cheese for her pasta (laughing with others on an adjacent table) and it never appeared - and then some appeared later for other diners.

Delicious dinner at Stuzzico. The waitress was really helpful and recommended fabulous fresh tuna cooked on the grill. One highlight was a little Cassata made with goat’s cheese ricotta with an almondy biscuit top and bottom. Delicious! Lucius came out and chatted with customers. He and his team clearly love the food they are preparing. Definitely worth a visit!

Incredible service, very good food. Traditional Italian food, fresh and tasty. Not a tourist trap, a true family run typical restaurant. We had a great time, thank you !

We had great lunch today and the wait was worth it. The waitress was amazing. So friendly and attentive, The owner should cherish her every day, as people like her make all the difference.

A small, entertaining and very authentic Italian restaurant. The chef explains the menu with great passion and interacts with the customers throughout the meal. The food is delicious. A very unassuming but genuine place to eat, the chef loves cooking for you. Would totally recommend.

From the moment I walk into this cozy , charming restaurant with a friendly server and a lovely decor, I knew I made a good choice. The fragrance from the kitchen gave me hope that my dishes will be tasty…and they were!! Being familiar with the Italian cuisine for over 45 years have enjoyed the pasta dish with porcini mushroom, lovely wine “de casa” and a super-fresh salad immensely. Some say, we have 2 stomachs - one got the meal, the other for the desert …😉, so I topped my fabulous dinner experience with a tiramisu which was out of this world. I can’t wait to come back - GRAZIE 🌹

The restaurant was small but super cute and very clean. The chef and staff were very courteous and helpful. The food was delicious and the prices were very good. The portion size was great. Overall I would return and recommend to others.

Lucius is a skilled chef who presented us with exceptional food tonight! This is a small restaurant, so you will receive personal attention from the chef as he consults with you on the order, describing the special dishes and helping select the perfect wine. Portions were very large so we did not get to try the desserts, but they looked delicious. We would encourage you avoid the tourist restaurants at the main gate and stroll into the town to enjoy this wonderful gastronomic experience!

Luigi the owner was superb! He made us feel very welcome and gave us service and attention that went over and above. He gave us great insight to the local wines and did everything to ensure that we had a great meal. The food was superb, the service was superb, the wine was superb and the ambience was superb.

We loved this restaurant because it was not touristy but rather truly Italian. The owner came and spoke with us. He told us the history of the restaurant. He also gave us some truffles to try on our cheese! Our waiter was very friendly. He was just learning English. The restaurant is right across from some of the Pompeii ruins.

Small intimate setting. Luigi is an excellent chef. The seafood ravioli was amazing-great flavors and perfect pasta. Even the grilled zucchini was done perfectly. Inexpensive for the quality of the food. We enjoyed chatting with Luigi who came out of the kitchen to mingle with guests. Would definitely go back.

We tried getting in one night but they were full so we came back the next night and we were so glad we did! Lucius is charming, funny and prepares amazing food! He does it all and with such pride. The food is simply fantastic and the overall experience of his restaurant is unique and heartwarming. Quintessential Italian and a very, very good value!

What a disappointment. Arrived after 3 hours in Pompeii ruins. Very hungry, with my husband, son, daughter in law and 2 years grand son. It took very log time to get attention from the waiter/owner/ chef... We ordered brusceta with tomatoes. What a boring dish. No salt, no olive oil and no garlic. No taste. After eating one bread I found a black hair on it. Then came the green salad. Waited more then 10 minutes to receive the olive oil that I had to put on the salad. Asked many times from the waitress, but it seems she was too busy. Then came the fried fish. 2 small fish, and see food, like calamary and shrimps. I did not order see food. Its written on the menu: fried fish. Well, i didnt return the dish, because it would have taken too long to get another one. Then we received the Talitale in cream sauce and ham. It arrived with a black hair again. This time I had enough, and returned the dish and asked for the bill. I do not recommend this restaurant. I have no idea how they received such a high score. I wonder????

Super meal in front of Pompey excavation. The pasta was perfect and the mozzarella met the expectations (Naples and it's surroundings are the home country of the mozzarella cheese) all this with an attentive service under the fresh shadow of the trees.
