The food was average. They charge 6 euros for copreto and 3.5 euros for water. Discount only on Ala Carte. Not at all worth. The food is very basic.

very tasty food, and they were very happy to adapt one option for a vegetarian. busy restaurant and tables close together, and our table was by the till where staff congregated, but good meal.

Great authentic spot with great food

We were made to feel welcome. The food was excellent. My husband had the meatballs and pasta in onion sauce and said best meal so far that week. The service was attentive and done with a smile

Outstanding service, great food and excellent wine. The pasta is particularly good although the special really wasn’t as good as the main menu ravioli. Small but high quality wine list.

Wrong choice of food I think- octopus vey tough and gristly, Calamari good ,raw prawns wrong choice .

This was the second time we went on our trip. We love this place. My partner got the onion and cream genovese pasta both times and loved it. I had one of the specials and the gnocchi, both amazing. Would 100% recommend to anyone in the area. We did have to wait around 15 minutes for our table the second time, but the staff are so efficient it went by super quick.

Staff were very friendly and responsive and able to accomodate my allergies well. Food was delicious. Shame that we had to wait 25 minutes for our table that had been booked

We had a really lovely experience at Sugo in Sorrento. Everything was faultless from start to finish. The service was warm and attentive without ever being intrusive, and the servers made us feel very welcome. The food was excellent—beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and served promptly. It’s clear that care and pride go into both the cooking and the service here. I’d happily recommend Sugo to anyone visiting Sorrento and will definitely return on my next trip.

My best meal while staying in Sorrento. Well worth the short walk out of the main tourist area. Fantastic food, lovely atmosphere in this family run restaurant. Don’t walk past, go in and eat, you won’t be disappointed.

We were greeted with a warm welcome and attentive service. The staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely invested in making sure every detail was just right. The food was exceptional — each dish beautifully presented and full of flavour. The ingredients were clearly of the highest quality and prepared with care.

Staff were fantastic - extremely friendly and made everyone feel welcome. Food was brilliant, best we have had so far in Italy! There was a group of 8 of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. There seemed to be plenty of locals eating here too which is always a good sign!

Visited for dinner The vitello Tonnato was fantastic and we had very good pasta and Prosecco

Perfect food at reasonable price. I had the past lemone which was very refreshing Eshingrefresing. The pasta párate was also an interesting dish reminding me of Mac n cheese

A friend of mine recommended this spot and we were so glad she did. All the restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful in suggestions. We had the meatball fondue appetizer and it was so delicious we ended up ordering a second round. Then we tried 4 different pasta dishes and the steak and arugula all of which were very tasty. Ended with a yummy lemon dessert and lemoncello. 10/10

The food was delicious, but the service and personality of the place made dinner so fun. Would definitely return!

Local Italian eatery with lovely hosts and wait staff. Food was very flavoursome and the pasta with raw shrimp was different but excellent. The Ragu was also good with flavour and I assume traditional with just a few pieces of larger meat pieces. Was a quiet night on the street so little atmosphere there when we went - on saying that the food was definitely different to the regular pizza/pasta/seafood restaurants and all up a good experience
