I recently had my final dinner in France and, unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. Despite making a reservation with high hopes of enjoying excellent sushi, I was met with overcooked and sticky rice. While the fish was acceptable, the overall experience suffered as I had to request wasabi and soy sauce twice in a sushi restaurant. I sincerely hope they focus on improving the quality of the rice, a fundamental element in sushi preparation. Regrettably, I left more than half of my sushi plate uneaten, as did my dining partner.
