The food was tasty but the staff was rude when we arrived early which is not typical of the Portuguese. Just did not get a good vibe. Would not recommend this place.

Food is ok but overpriced. Service is not good with waiters encouranging you to order too much food and the most expensive dishes and wine.

We walked from our hotel, The Editory Riverside Hotel (a great hotel), the Front desk Manager recommended we dine at Taberna Albricoque. We tried unique dishes and were pleasantly impressed with the presentation and flavors. Highly recommend this local spot!

Great little restaurant. Delicious food, especially the prawn rice, octopus with sweet potato but most of all the horse mackerel with shiso leaf and almonds. Service seemed a bit haphazard though, with staff who seemed new and wrong dishes were brought to the table and what we ordered seemed to have been forgotten. Otherwise, a great place to dine.

Great place to have Mediterranean style dinner with portugal twist. We were very tired after walking all day in Lisbon, but really tasty food brightened our evening.

We were planning a little surprise for a friend the whole team helped us to do so. The food was also great! And even if no vegan dishes were present on the menu they made one. Thanks again guys

We had an amazing supper. Very friendly and helpful staff who explained the menu. Highlights were the conger eel stew and the Farofias. Very calm dining room.

It was my third time in Taberna Albricoque, and I hadn’t been there for a while, and I found the food was better than ever! I was with friends who tried it for the first time and they were amazed. Thank you, Taberna Albricoque team!

Tasty food but too pricey for the ridiculous quantities. The waiters very pushy and the environment very noisy due to bad acoustics. Another restaurant for turists...

This is a very good restaurant with a strong local clientele. There is no English language menu available but the staff was very helpful and accommodating. They helped us with the selection. The food was delicious, well prepared and with quality ingredients. We were a party of 6 and were happy with all our dishes. We recommend this restaurant.

The dining experience at this restaurant is truly exceptional, offering comfort food from a chef's perspective. The chef's meticulous attention to detail and use of high-quality ingredients elevate the flavors to new heights. Prepare to embark on a culinary journey exploring traditional Portuguese dishes with an innovative twist. The extensive wine list boasts an impressive selection of unique wines sourced from all corners of the country. Overall, this establishment is a true reflection of Chef Bertilio Gomez's talent and mastery, showcasing understated yet remarkable cuisine.

The overall experience was very good. The staff is very attentive and kind. We need to repeat without kids, since kids don’t have enough patience to wait for food when the restaurant was fully full! They need to learn that sometimes the waiting time is worth it! And that it’s precisely the case in Taberna Albricoque ☺️

Very good restaurant. To experience contemporary authentic Portuguese food made with love and attention. I also love the decoration. Like the food it’s no nonsense and colourful! Super tasty

Taberna Albricoque was a perfect find: magnificent food prepared & presented with charm. The servers were attentive and personable. The atmosphere was authentic Lisboa. We would go back in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed all of the food and thought our primary server was quite good. A fine experience overall, with one exception: the seemingly generous offer of a digestif turned out to not be a gift after all and came with a 7 euro per person charge.

Excellent restaurant. Food was first class. Wines were great (with options for all budgets) and service was spot on. Fantastic evening, we’ll definitely be back!

Decent food, very amateurish service from beginning to end. The restaurant was recommended by friends, so we had high expectations. Ok once but would not go back nor recommend it to others.

A really good meal, and attentive service. Unfortunately there was a table of 15 very loud US grad students next to us, and the vaulted ceiling of the back room where we were seated further amplified the decibels. But we’ll probably be back anyway for the food (delicious hake, rabbit salad w eggplant, mackerel tartar, eggplant tempura, fig tart… )

The bill included dishes we didn’t order. We pointed out this to the waiter and we found ourselves in a discussion with 3 waiters. The manners shown by such waiters were unacceptable. Eventually we paid what we ate. Hence, I recommend checking your bill before paying as you may find some surprises in it.

The food is absolutely delicious. Truly recommend the petiscos. The “torresmos do mar” (moreia frita) are a must, as well as the the lingueirão canja! Very nice employees. Relatively slow service. Overall 9/10 experience.

This restaurant is a very special jewel in Portuguese cuisine. The mixture of traditional and contemporary flavors makes the dishes a pleasant surprise. We will never forget the fish tartar (entries). The service is completely professional and makes you feel at home. And the space is also traditional and cozy at the same time. Definitely one of my favorites restaurant in Lisbon. It is well worth getting a table there.

Everything about this restaurant is special. Our server was warm and attentive and was excited to share the cuisine with us. The menu is innovative and the room feels authentic and a bit out of space and time. The location - just footsteps from S. Apolónia station is easy to find. We started with homemade bread, purple carrot tapenade and olive oil flavored with orange and grapes. The mackerel carpaccio was served on Shiso leaves which gave it a minty flavor and my wife had grilled mushroom in an asparagus sauce. We then had forkbread fish and cuttlefish.. both excellent. It all went beautifully with the bottle of Alentejo red wine our server recommended. After a day of walking the mighty hills of Lisbon - we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Taberna Albricoque.

Excellent food. Very good Chef’s interpretation of regional Algarve cuisine. Room needing somehow a way to reduce noise, the beautiful marble panels and old vitrines, unfortunately work as an amplifier. Staff should know that dishes only are removed from the table when all the food is consumed or when asked by the clients.

A wonderful little restaurant, the service was exceptional as was the food. We were greeted by a gentleman who I assume was the owner and he kindly talked us through the menu and apologised that it was all in Portuguese, no apology required we loved that ot was not just another tourist trap restaurant! We ordered three starter plates and a main dish to share, followed by a dessert each. All were delicious. The wine selection was good and the coffee was fresh and well brewed. All the servers were friendly and we enjoyed talking to us and celebrated our honeymoon with a complimentary shot of local liquor and tasty little bits I think were made of fig and were so moreish! What a lovely end to our holiday.

The service was super bad from the first minute we got there. We had to ask two times for wine, three times for water which arrived without glasses. We had no suggestion or recommendation by our waitress who was just staring at us whilst we were clearly struggling with food and wine order. We ordered bread and oysters which arrived at least 30 mins after we asked (and asked). We asked for a wine cooler which never arrived. The entire night was a repeated mistake from the staff and we were totally overlooked at. The best part is when the bill arrived and we noticed that three bottles of water were charged at different prices. When we told the waitress she came back with a more expensive bill saying she made a mistake! Unbelievable! It was a shame as it was the last dinner of a great weekend and we will defo never going to go back!
