10/10Second visit just as good as the first quality food good value and lovely friendly service in a lovely restaurant made to feel welcome. The rump steak is one of the best steaks i have tasted on the Algarve. Cooked over charcoal and sliced thinly so tender no fat and garlic butter wow stunning....

10/10The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. The restaurant itself has a lovely atmosphere, still in line with the original Portuguese style. The dishes I chose were the dorada, which is sea bream, and it was lovely, and the apple pie was gorgeous. We'll certainly be returning on Fridays, as it's live music night, so be sure to book your table.

8/10This is lovely little restaurant on the edge of Lagoa. The chef grills all the meat and fish dishes and his wife acts as front of house. As always the meals we had were delicious from a rib-eye steak to two different fish dishes. A reasonably priced white wine and scrumptious desserts completed the meal. We haven’t visited lately but it is still as good as ever!

Really nice place in Lagoa! Great meat selection! We had mix pork board and ribs and it was tasty with their garlic rub.. Highly Recommended!

10/10Best spare ribs in Algarve and maybe in Portugal! I’m a bit reluctant leaving this review because when I go there again I do want to get a table but it would not be fair to keep this a secret.

10/10Authentic Portuguese restaurant with simple but delicious Algarvian recipes. Super friendly staff. This place is like Doctor Who’s TARDIS. It doesn’t look much from the outside but inside it is warm and inviting and far roomier than you might think. Prices are also very good. Looking forward to going back here with friends to give them a true Portuguese experience.

We love this restaurant. The ribs are fantastic - I love the garlic ribs. The mixed pork plate is great. Tonight i had the iron steak which was delicious and perfectly cooked - with more than enough left over for lunch tomorrow. The house wine is fantastic. Carlos and his staff are very welcoming. It is definitely a local favorite for us.

10/10Great find of a family run business! The food was excellent! The fish and steak were fresh and cooked perfectly. The owners were lovely and very welcoming. There are lots of restaurants out there that claim to be “real” Portuguese but this place is the real deal! Would absolutely recommend to everyone a must try!

10/10We have a holiday home near Lagoa and we had heard good things about this little restaurant tucked away in a side street in Lagoa. We were not disappointed. It was so easy to book using The Fork app. We were greetly so warmly by Natalia whose husband owns the restaurant and does the grilling. I had been told about the ribs and oh my they were so delicious. Not a piece of meat left on them by the time I had finished. We also had some very tasty garlic bread which was freshly made and the pud (lemon meringue pie) was amazing. We also had a jug of Sangria and this too was made from scratch for us. We will most definitely visit again.

10/10A great welcome. Food was excellent. The Dourda was delicious, asked for it to be served without the garlic sauce. Rib eye steaks were succulent. Desserts were tasty...passion fruit cake and lemon meringue! The young waiter was very good. The whole experience was perfect. Thank you. See you soon.
