6/10The food was average, and the service was very slow – it took about 40 minutes to get our meal. At the end, we even had to go to the counter to pay because, after asking for the bill, it still hadn’t arrived after half an hour. Despite this, the location is great and the staff were friendly.

Great location, lovely live music, and the local dish, chanfana, was delicious! We had a wonderful time, and the friendly staff made it even more special. As Japanese travelers, ordering food can sometimes be a bit of a challenge, but everyone was so patient and welcoming. Thank you for a memorable evening!

8.5/10I can't comment much on the food as we only had a cheese and ham platter, but that was tasty and well presented. The ambiance is made special by the live music - which was excellent - but I don't know if they are there every day. Service was very friendly though a little slow.

Amazing food with an amazing service! The degustation menu is of really high quality (and portion) and extremely recommendable. One dose feeds 2 as an amazing starter. The bacalhau was perfectly cooked, as well as all side dishes! Will definitely come back!

Nice place in a small corner of the city. There was also great music by an artist who performs in front of the venue. Unfortunately, even though I didn't get it I saw a frozen pizza being pulled out of the package by the chef: creepy!!! Furthermore, rhe service is slow: 45 minutes wait and they didn't even bring us bread.

10/10Very nice place to dine, friendly staff and great food. The location is amazing and the live music is definitely a big plus to enjoy the food and would definitely recommend anyone stopping by in Coimbra not to miss this restaurant.

10/10Great food and wine. The grilled octopus was my favorite of everything we tried. Friendly staff. Could not have asked for anything more. Reading other reviews, I am in complete amazement of those older than 12 years old that order pizza in a Portuguese restaurant given all the other delicious options, then complain that it is not very good. Given the obvious need to state the obvious, please go to a pizzeria if you want pizza, and stick to the adult side of the menu in Portuguese restaurants. That way you can’t go wrong.

10/10From the moment my husband and I walked through the door, we were greeted warmly and that excellent hospitality continued throughout our visit. The food was outstanding, especially the pork cheeks and roasted goat (a regional specialty). Both provided mouth watering and succulent meat accompanied by crispy roasted potatoes and a veg medley. Absolutely delicious! Again, both our server and the host interacted with us throughout our meal with a polite familiarity as if we were regulars.

10/10Surprised by live music every night with different musicians. This little square enable the perfect acoustic for music performance. Food is of the best ingredients prepared with the traditional recipe. Menu is nothing huge though but u might want to echo. After the first night, we went back every night, for the music or the food, plus the friendly smile you are getting from everyone serving there. Must visit if you like a casual relaxing night in the middle of the historical town.

6.5/10The staff was very friendly, however the interior of the restaurant is lacking and a bit dingy. My husband ordered the pork cheeks and the quality and taste were quite average, the meat was stringy. I ordered the salad with couscous and chicken, the menu said that one of the ingredients was fruit so I asked about this and was told that it was pineapple- I requested no fruit due to allergies. When the salad arrived I found that it had dried raisins and sultanas and was served with an orange slice on top, this was disappointing. I will say that the salad was very flavorful, though I had to pick out the cilantro leaves (not listed as an ingredient). We would not recommend this restaurant.

9/10Good food and atmosphere. The only issue was s vocalist singing with guitar that was too loud. We were seated outside when a beautiful Fado group were playing. After they finished, a guy with curly hair used a guitar and amplifier and microphone and blasted his music to the point we couldn’t hear each other talking. It ruined the ambiance.

We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and couldn’t have chosen a better place. We were greeted warmly and received attentive and friendly service throughout our time there. Couvert of seasoned olives, bread and presunto whetted our appetites for our pork dishes (stuffed pork loin and pork cheeks), served with roasted potatoes and sautéed vegetables, all delicious, tender, flavorful…and ample. We were intrigued by the sobremesa of Fios de ovos (sweet egg threads), shared since we had already over-eaten. Quite sweet but interesting texture and tasty. Although we have spent many evenings here on the patio listening to music, the interior is charming and inviting and we will return.
