10/10The food was delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the staff was very friendly. This restaurant was worth what we spent, and the prices were actually very reasonable.

The best restaurant for celebrating a precious moments! Beautiful space and ambience. Took my husband here for his birthday and the staff are so kind and service is fantastic! They even bring the cake with some decoration and sing happy birthday. Food also really good and price is reasonable, definitely will come back here ! Highly recommended if you are in Sevilla .

+1We've eaten here twice. The first time was in the lovely green dining room. Tonight we were in a more casual room with a ramp to the sidewalk. Less appealing. We had returned because we had a nice tasting menu on our last visit. Tonight we were given a limited a la carte menu. We enjoyed the things we ordered and had absolutely terrific service but we had reserved hoping to try the tasting menu again. Nothing wrong really just didn't meet our expectations set by our last experience dining there. Again a really fabulous server.

3.5/10We arrived early for our reservation and were seated at the bar until the restaurant opened. The young lady clearly forgot we were there, but when we reminded her, we were seated. We ordered appetizers, entrees and wine. The waitress brought a bottle which was opened and poured at the table. I reminded her we had ordered by the glass. She seemed surprised; (3 people attending us), so after tasting it, we said it was ok, we would buy the bottle. In 3 minutes our appetizers arrived, so we asked that they slow down and not bring the entrees so quickly. The woman who took our order, said ok, tell her when we were ready and she would put the order in. We enjoyed the appetizers at a leisurely pace and after signaling the staff we were ready; the entrees appeared 2 seconds later. One was cold the other overcooked, and had to be reheated. When we received the bill, I presented the discount which I had unexpectedly received with my confirmation from the Fork. I was informed that this was valid in another part of the restaurant. Huh? They had my reservation, and had seated us. We ordered a la carte which was the only stipulation. I never write bad reviews, but the experience was NOT a good one; and had the food and service been better than mediocre, I would not have written this one, nor cared about the discount. EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE.

9/10We had a lovely evening. The food was all delicious, the staff were attentive and very helpful with wine choices. The restaurant is attractively decorated and a very pleasant place to be.

8.5/10not much choice for dining on a Sunday and this was one of the few restaurants open, but we were very pleased. Food was fill of flavour, service was friendly and for the most part attentive, but we did have to repeatedly request water. Best dishes were plum tomato salad, sloe cooked pork, goat cheese croquettes and leg of lamb. Not too keen on the mackerel. Even if you have lots of dining choice, choose this one

The service was a comedy. Two kids who probably work there part-time. We were there alone. They are not to blame, it seems they in 2 cover the hotel guests and the restaurant. The food was good, good kitchen work! Everything else a disaster.

7.5/10We enjoyed a good Christmas lunch at this restaurant. The meal was very good and tasty - would have been better had there be some vegetables with the main course, rather than just meat or fish in a tasty sauce. Good value overall and a generous amount of wine etc included. The service was very good (waiter Carlos very attentive). Federico also helpful and pleasant during the booking process.

9/10We enjoyed the tasting menu which provided a good selection of mostly fish based courses from the menu. Excellent creme caramel at the end. Attentive service. Good for a treat night.

The service was WOW A M A Z I NG! The lady that was serving us was great with us and with the kids! The food was beautiful tasty and we went out so satisfied! Definitely one of the best places to eat in Sevilla

5.5/10When serving a couple no matter what dish (in this case dessert), you never bring them separately, one after the other (in this case the lady had to wait after her partner's dessert already arrived). It's not elegant and unprofessional. Good luck!

A super nice and elegant atmosphere and very gentle the main waiter. The prices are coherent with the elegant place. I suggest the toast with anchovy and sardines... Fabulous! Only one note: the cuisine opens at 8.30pm not at 8.00.

6.5/10The food is ok but you will easy find better almost everywhere. Biggest disappointment is the service level. I would rank this as non existent and not at all personal. The interior is nice and probably the only thing we will remember after this visit.

10/10A very elegant place, vintage and full of charm. All the staff was lovely with us and the food excellent. The cook is a genious. We will come back for sure. Is pricy in comparison to other places in Sevilla, but is worth.

7.5/10The food was OK but nothing special. For service they tried hard but the serving staff ‘s inability to communicate in English was detrimental to the experience. For example I asked for a non vintage port with my coffee which involved explaining what a port was to three different members of staff. No port arrived and I eventually asked for the bill despite requesting it twice more. Under the circumstances and rather generously I asked them to put 10% on the charge as service. They did not do so and received no service charge.

Thank you very much for your comment and we regret what happened. Maybe our staff was unaware of the wine you wanted to drink or we didn't have it. At least they had the detail to recognize that they did not deserve the tip because the service was not as you wanted. Thanks for everything.

9/10Beautiful room. Great service. Tuna tartare, Heirloom tomato and grilled octopus dishes excellent. Mixed feelings about raspberry chiboust - wasabi a little overpowering and black sesame ice cream not refreshing and colour (coal!) a little off putting. Good wine list.

4.5/10Waited for the wine list half an hour. Beef was hard and flaky, fish like rubber. Only three tables reserved by tourists, rest of huge restaurant free. Strange atmosphere

10/10We went there for a New Year’s Eve Party and it was wonderful. The food was delicious, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the decorations were lovely! The whole thing was very well-planned and we thank Taberna del Alabardero for a wonderful evening!

10/10We found the restaurant on the Michelin Guide. Overall a good experience. The food is good, and the service great. It’s on the pricey side compared with other restaurants in the area, but not excessive. The portions for dinner is larger than most other outfits we have dined at in the last week or so - for the two of us, we ordered 3 starters and one main dish, and there was too much food.

9/10Starters were excellent, including the presentation! Ambience was terrific! Mains were also good, though not very unique. Duck with chocolate rice was a different combination and tasted great....though a bit chewy. Dessert of chocolate soufflé was mind-boggling! Definitely worth visiting.
