This was my 6th visit here, and I had their fabulous fish ‘n clams for the 5th time. The dish has been made to perfection every time! This evening, I was wanting a smooth red wine (instead of the usual white wine to pair with fish), and the owner selected a perfect wine for me - São Dominingos Reserva. The quality of the food & wine, the warm atmosphere, and the exceptional manager keep me coming back for more!

This was my 5th visit to this restaurant, and it dropped to an 8/10 from the 10/10 I’ve ranked it in the past. I normally order the fish ‘n clams which I really like, but decided to try the fish stew today for something different. The dish was overly full of chunky peppers and onions which overwhelmed the flavors of the fish and seafood. Once I removed all of the peppers and onions, I could enjoy the dish properly, though some crusty bread (which is normally served with bouillabaisse) would have been lovely to soak up the flavorful broth. The real surprise came when the bill did not reflect the 30% Fork discount. I mentioned this to the server who then sent over the manager. The manager insisted that the bill showed a discount. When I brought out my calculator, it was revealed that they had only discounted the bill by 15%. Be sure to check that the discount is properly applied, if you book with a discount code.

This is still my favorite restaurant in Lisbon for fish ‘n clams, but 4€ for a bottle of filtered tap water is a bit much. I won’t make that mistake again.

This was my third trip to this restaurant, and it won’t be my last! I’ve ordered the Robalo with clams each time, and it’s always excellent! The staff are friendly and they know me by face now. The location is centrally located, with both indoor and outdoor dining options. So happy to have discovered this place through The Fork on a promotion.

Our waiter who helped us was very friendly and practical. The problem with the dish was the excessive use of coriander. I couldn't take a single fork into my meal, which I started with great enthusiasm. Coriander is a very assertive herb and not everyone likes it, especially me. And the sauce of the clams had a lot of coriander in them, so I didn't eat that either. Other than that it was enjoyable.

We had a lovely dinner experience on Monday the 22 of July, the last day of out vacation in Portugal. Very good food and excellent service. Just walk a few blocks from the main street and you will have wonderful food, not the tourist trap kind.

Food was delicious! Had the olives, cheese board for starters. Bread melts in your mouth. Wife had the mushroom risotto and she loved it. I had the codfish lis and it was fresh and delicious.

This was my second visit to this place, and it was just as great as the first time! Their Sea Bream with clams has become my new favorite dish in Lisbon. Service is always friendly and the ambience is welcoming. They even aired the Portugal futebol game for us to watch with the volume off which made for a pleasant dining experience. I look forward to returning.

The food was traditional Portuguese and octopus was well cooked. Sadly the food was swimming in oil and it took 40 minutes for the bill to arrive after asking multiple times. Overall, with the fork discount, the food is reasonably priced, however we would not return.

I recently dined at Taberna do Lis. The food was great, with each dish prepared to perfection. However, the customer service left something to be desired. Our order of olives never arrived, and there was a mix-up with my gluten intolerant daughter's salad. Additionally, the bill initially came without The Fork discount applied. Despite these issues, the quality of the food makes it worth a visit.

I was looking for a basic Portuguese meal and decided to give this place a try. I ordered the Robalo (sea bass) and was pleasantly surprised! This is the only restaurant in Lisbon where I’ve had Robalo served boneless with a nice medley of vegetables that were perfectly grilled (not cooked to mush). The server took time to recommend a wine to me based on my personal preferences. This is my new go-to place when I have a Robalo craving! Maybe I’ll even try something else on the menu next time.
