This place always delivers great food with friendly service! We always get the Robalo with clams - which is fabulous! - but today, I tried the roasted chicken breast which was flavorful and beautifully plated. I’ll definitely order this dish again. With such excellent food and service, I will keep coming back!

Great place to have a meal with some typical portugese dishes. Although the seasoning could be better, the portions were generous and the staff was nice.

It might be what I ordered but my seafood pasta sauce was extremely sweet and did not have a fraction of the seafood we've had at other restaurants in Lisbon

+3Loved this restaurant during my trip to Lisbon! It’s conveniently close to where I stayed, and it was so fantastic that I came back for dinner two nights in a row. It was rainy and a bit chilly these days, and having their warm, comforting food was absolutely perfect. I tried the mushroom risotto, monkfish and shrimp risotto, Portuguese-style braised steak, pork, grilled octopus, oil-and-vinegar marinated gluten, grilled vegetables, and more. Every single dish was delicious. The cherry liqueur was also rich and smooth. Most importantly, the sister who runs the place was incredibly warm, friendly and patient. Thank you so much! Do remember to make a reservation in advance—it gets very busy during meal times, and you can get a discount if you book ahead.

Food is good as usual but we felt some discomfort caused by the cold draft due to the door being left ajar by careless customers when leaving or by the staff itself when bringing dishes to their neighbouring bar. We had to go close the door three or four times, which is not acceptable in such a place.

Excellent dining experience! The service was very attentive and the atmosphere was lovely. We ordered the chestnut soup and the fish fillet, both of which were absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!

It was our first night in Lisbon and we were unsure about where to eat. Found this restaurant on the app and we were not disappointed. Food and wine was delicious and staff were lovely. Definitely worth a visit. Very good value.

We had wonderful, first night in Lisbon dining experience at Taberna do Lis. The waitstaff was attentive, and friendly, and the food was very good! It was a lovely evening and a great start to our Vacation!

This is my favorite place in Lisbon for Robalo and clams. Tonight, I invited an out of town guest to join me and we were so well taken care of by Lucas and Regina! I just love this place!

The appetiser was excellent, though the codfish was slightly overcooked. The staff were very friendly and even offered us a lovely glass of Port at the end. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The food was delicious (we had garlic prawns with chilli and ginger - superb!)& the staff were happy and helpful. Overall it is a charming restaurant- would thoroughly recommend.

What a perfect first evening in Lisbon. We are traveling with our two young adult sons and all four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Two of us had the duck risotto and the others had the mushroom and asparagus risotto and the monkfish rice with shrimp. We also had the garlic shrimp appetizer that foretold how good of a meal it was going to be. Excellent value for what we got and the staff was super nice and took very good care of us. Oh yeah, definitely get the sangria too!!
