Great ratings and value for money brought us to this traditional Portugese Restaurant and we were NOT disappointed. excellent food and service. Will definitely be back. try the white wine Sangria. it is gorgeous.

We loved Taberna so Lis. The atmosphere was very pleasant, the decor is nice and cozy. The food was extremely tasty and the service excellent. We appreciated the wine recommendations and the port wine served to us at the end of the meal was amazing. We had a great lunch and would love to come back.

Service is attentive and always available. The food is good and the Fork discount is attractive but the daily lunch menu (it has to be requested as it is hidden) seems to be a far better deal. Wine by the glass is way overpriced. It normally represents 20-25% of the price of the bottle but here it was closer to 35%!

This was my 6th visit here, and I had their fabulous fish ‘n clams for the 5th time. The dish has been made to perfection every time! This evening, I was wanting a smooth red wine (instead of the usual white wine to pair with fish), and the owner selected a perfect wine for me - São Dominingos Reserva. The quality of the food & wine, the warm atmosphere, and the exceptional manager keep me coming back for more!

This was my 5th visit to this restaurant, and it dropped to an 8/10 from the 10/10 I’ve ranked it in the past. I normally order the fish ‘n clams which I really like, but decided to try the fish stew today for something different. The dish was overly full of chunky peppers and onions which overwhelmed the flavors of the fish and seafood. Once I removed all of the peppers and onions, I could enjoy the dish properly, though some crusty bread (which is normally served with bouillabaisse) would have been lovely to soak up the flavorful broth. The real surprise came when the bill did not reflect the 30% Fork discount. I mentioned this to the server who then sent over the manager. The manager insisted that the bill showed a discount. When I brought out my calculator, it was revealed that they had only discounted the bill by 15%. Be sure to check that the discount is properly applied, if you book with a discount code.

This is still my favorite restaurant in Lisbon for fish ‘n clams, but 4€ for a bottle of filtered tap water is a bit much. I won’t make that mistake again.

This was my third trip to this restaurant, and it won’t be my last! I’ve ordered the Robalo with clams each time, and it’s always excellent! The staff are friendly and they know me by face now. The location is centrally located, with both indoor and outdoor dining options. So happy to have discovered this place through The Fork on a promotion.

Our waiter who helped us was very friendly and practical. The problem with the dish was the excessive use of coriander. I couldn't take a single fork into my meal, which I started with great enthusiasm. Coriander is a very assertive herb and not everyone likes it, especially me. And the sauce of the clams had a lot of coriander in them, so I didn't eat that either. Other than that it was enjoyable.

We had a lovely dinner experience on Monday the 22 of July, the last day of out vacation in Portugal. Very good food and excellent service. Just walk a few blocks from the main street and you will have wonderful food, not the tourist trap kind.
