Great food and great service! We ordered grilled fish and seafood soup, very delicious. Also croquettes were very good. Waiters very engaging and attentive. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.

What a wonderful authentic restaurant Away from the bustle on a back street Was very quiet when we arrived so we were a bit worried , however we think that it’s because it’s out of the main drag Paella was wonderful Wine was lovely too Please try this gem

A very nice little place. their Paella is very very good, their Jambon is out of this world. and the service is a fun spectacle. Even though they hardly spoke any English, we managed to communicate, and they handle our group of 20 people beautifully. Recommendable!

A really nice experience in every way, nice surroundings, great service and a paella to die for. I have been ordering paellas in the Alicante region for 12 years. This one is on my top five list. Just try it.

The staff were friendly and attentive, the food was brought quickly and was consistently delicious, and there was live music. We were even brought cake and a round of drinks as it was my birthday.

Friendly service, authentic food, fair prices, live music- all we wanted from a traditional Spanish meal out! Finally… it’s harder to find than you think but taverna iberica delivered on every level away from the chaos of the main streets.

Very nice traditional restaurant serving genuine local dishes. For our main course my wife and I shared paella with rabbit and snails. Delicious and nice to sample a hearty local dish, prepared as we enjoyed appetisers and a glass of regional wine. Service was friendly and informative about the dishes we selected.

An amazing find, not on the main food streets of the Old Town, but well worth visiting. We chose the Menu Del Dia Segun Mercado, 3 tapas dishes to start, followed by a choice of the fish or meat on offer - we recommend the lamb steaks. Lovely staff, friendly and helpful and a guitarist made an appearance too. We will visit again! Muchas Gracias!

Amazing restaurant and very tasty and fresh food. The service was superb! Soup was very delicious and the rest of the dishes just perfect ( fried fish and calamari, steak, prawns, tapas ). Definitely recommend. Will be back again for sure. Thank you!

Food was lovely, ambience great, proper Spanish feeling. Waitress was the most miserable and unwelcoming person I’ve ever met though. Didn’t smile once, seemed genuinely unhappy to have business. Let the whole place down.

Had high hopes for the restaurant but to wait over an hour for a paella was disappointing. Think the kitchen was struggling. The waiting staff were nice though but food could have been better.

Simply the best paella we have ever had. There were also some small tapas dishes served when we arrived which were also delicious. Their vino tinto de casa was also first class. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive.
