10/10Beautiful food. We went here for lunch. The waiter from Catalonia was so welcoming and friendly and really helpful. Delicious vegetarian options and amazing tapas. I highly recommend.

10/10An amazing find, not on the main food streets of the Old Town, but well worth visiting. We chose the Menu Del Dia Segun Mercado, 3 tapas dishes to start, followed by a choice of the fish or meat on offer - we recommend the lamb steaks. Lovely staff, friendly and helpful and a guitarist made an appearance too. We will visit again! Muchas Gracias!

10/10Amazing restaurant and very tasty and fresh food. The service was superb! Soup was very delicious and the rest of the dishes just perfect ( fried fish and calamari, steak, prawns, tapas ). Definitely recommend. Will be back again for sure. Thank you!

6.5/10Food was lovely, ambience great, proper Spanish feeling. Waitress was the most miserable and unwelcoming person I’ve ever met though. Didn’t smile once, seemed genuinely unhappy to have business. Let the whole place down.

6/10Had high hopes for the restaurant but to wait over an hour for a paella was disappointing. Think the kitchen was struggling. The waiting staff were nice though but food could have been better.

10/10Simply the best paella we have ever had. There were also some small tapas dishes served when we arrived which were also delicious. Their vino tinto de casa was also first class. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive.

9.5/10Really good quality and truly authentic tapas not like the imitations that exist in Alicante The choices are great with something for everyone to enjoy Recommend the Ibérica ham and tomato bread, calamari, house salad, patatas bravas of course. So much more on offer though Book in advance as gets busy and they will not compromise their service and get too busy

5/10Terrible experience. Years into using TheFork, this restaurant made me pay 9 EUROS to cover their own TheFork fee!!!! So, we were covered 7.5 eur for bread, 7.5 eur for service and 9 euros for the reservation!!! Unacceptable!!!! This huge fee was not written anywhere on the TheFork page, nor the menu! I talked to the employee to ask if there was a mistake and they candidly admit that ThFork is too expensive and they make the customers pay for THEIR OWN marketing choice to be on TheFork!!!!! Incredible, so disappointed! It basically ruined the dinner!

8.5/10This was our second visit - the first was 5 years ago. As before, the food and service were good. This time there were more people dining, which made for a nice atmosphere. We will certainly visit again, when we are in Alicante.

10/10Only a short distance from our apartment, I found this wonderful restaurant online based on customer reviews. We were not disappointed. Fresh, tasty tapas, followed by a divine steak - absolutely delicious food. A lovely bottle of the house wine accompanied the steak beautifully. Melon served after the meal ended our experience perfectly. Value for money was excellent. We went for a stroll afterwards through the streets closer to the marina and the prices were at least 50% higher. Seek this place out, it’s worth it.

7/10Quiet place in a nice area. Service was ok but the waiting time too long for us (20 min to get a menu and a first drink while the restaurant was half full and 2 girls serving in the restaurant) but the food was good.

10/10Off the beaten track. An authentic taverna. We were the only customers inside for lunch. The service was amazing. The food is well prepared and we were given lots of aperitivos, dessert and even a little port at the end of the meal on top of our order. The croquetas jamón and paella were delicious.

10/10Came here with parents and husband. This is such a cute Taberna. It’s on a charming little street, and it’s very original in the way it’s decorated. Service was very good, our server was very attentive to us, and they have live music when you eat. Food was fantastic. Really delicious and fresh seafood paella. They gave us a free dessert and digestive drink at the end. The owner of the restaurant is the cutest and sweetest man. Thank you for an amazing evening!
