We loved it, the food was absolutely fantastic. Great wine recommendations. The Tbone steak x 4 of us was tasty. The service was absolutely amazing. Thank you.

The service was excellent and they offer jinga shots at the end, the food was just perfect we took Chanfana a typical dish from Coimbra and didn’t get disappointed at all also we took an Espatada of madeira and it was just delicious. Generous quantity and very reasonable prices I recommend

we had an amazing dinner. We had t- bone and sea bass and both were delicious. of course the wine was good .

great food ...delicious shrimps ..the chanfana traditional dish was so good and tender ..big portions and very reasonable prices ... highly recommended we had a great time!!!!

The food was absolutely amazing—full of flavour and beautifully presented. The ambience was perfect with traditional fado music setting a lovely, authentic tone. João, the chefe de sala, was incredibly polite, friendly, and quick—his service really stood out. A fantastic dining experience from start to finish!

The food was excellent and so was the service. Very typical Portuguese place with a cozy atmosphere and fair prices. Strongly recommended!

Walked by this restaurant on a Saturday evening last August. The smell coming from the kitchen was incredible, but unfortunately, they were booked for that night. The next time we visited Coimbra, we made sure to make a reservation. Great, traditional Portuguese cooking. We loved the octopus main and the shrimp sauteed in garlic and oil! Service was excellent. Everything was freshly prepared with the best ingredients! Obrigado and we'll be back!

Wonderful find! Taverna Laura was an excellent experience w/ comfortable setting, great service and wonderful food. Our 3 meals and desserts were perfect! Service was quick and attentive. We felt like vips!

This little gem of a place was recommended to me by a friend who lives in the area. The tiny fish were delicious, service was quick and super friendly, and they were very patient with my not quite there yet Portuguese. I love Coimbra so will be back up north (ish) again, and will be making a bee line for this place again.

A very small restaurant where there was still room for live music. One of the guests joined in and the party was complete. Great music. Good food with home made fries. Kind service. Very friendly prices (student level). In one word Great

Not easy to find good posta mirandesa in Coimbra - this is the place for you transmontanas with saudades!

We enjoyed our lunch. It was towards the end of the normal lunchtime so the place was very quiet. Grilled octupus and meat skewer were done well. Very nice and helpful server.

I enjoyed dinner but the waiter was forgetful. I ordered my meal and wine but he forgot my wine. It wasn't busy so that wasn't the problem. After 15 minutes I asked for my wine. I would go again. I wasn't upset but I would have wanted to enjoy the wine.
