Everyone was welcoming, service was exceptional, clean facilities and most important, the food was excellent. The salads were beyond expectation. It’s very close to the historical area. It’s an easy walk to a lovely restaurant without all the crowds.

We very much enjoyed our experience and would not hesitate to return. Our meal was a little salty but that seems to be "par for the course".

Outstanding service and good food. It’s not my first time there and I certainly will return. Their ducks rice is the best!!

Food very fine. Especially the dessert “arroz doce” milk rice with cinnamon very creamy! Missing paper or towel or drier in the bathroom. Therefore service only 4 stars, otherwise also excellent!

The food was really good and the atmosphere very quiet. We really appreciate the quality of the meal and wine, also the desserts were just amazing!

This restaurant was honestly one of the biggest disappointments in Faro. I’m not sure if the poor service was because we made the reservation through The Fork, but if they don’t want to take part in these campaigns, they simply shouldn’t — it would look much better for them. From the moment we arrived, there was a clear distinction between The Fork customers and direct customers, which is unacceptable. The service was terrible — I even wondered if the person serving us was actually the owner. One of the dishes consisted of eight slices of cheap cheese with a few small toast squares — €15 for that! Completely unreasonable. The portions were tiny, and the food had absolutely no flavor. There are many other places in Faro where you can eat much better for fairer prices. I felt completely deceived, and I’m leaving this review to make sure others don’t go through the same experience. Restaurant to avoid. Terrible choice.

Pois vocês fizerem uma reserva de 50% para duas pessoas e no fim vieram 3 . Comeram uma tabua de queijos ovelha maturado. com tostas e doce tomate (15.60) uma dose de polvo (12.75) e bochechas (8.25) Pratos altamente recomendados Esta situação não merecia de todo 1 estrela, como todos os nossos clientes podem atestar, também prestamos um bom serviço e sabemos o que estamos a fazer. Este tipo de plataformas servem para avaliar comida, bebidas, espaço, localização, simpatia e não dão 1 estrela por erro cometido por vocês na reserva. Esperamos velos de novo.Ate a proxima

The bbq ribs were decent, the octopus tasteless, bruschetta was ok but not really a bruschetta, and the carpaccio ok. Ok service, overall a good but not overly exciting experience.

The food was amazing, the service very nice, and very cheap! They included the 50% discount on everything, including drinks and desert. Highly recommended!!

We‘ve been searching for a (not crazy overpriced) Petiscaria with choices beyond Fish and Seafood - and yay, they have some! It is a small restaurant with a nice outside sitting area in a quieter area. We ordered Cheese Gratin, Pimento Assaro, Marinated Salmon, Batatas Bravas and Salada Mista (with roasted onions). All excellent (only the toasted bread was slightly disappointing). They also have a good selection of wines on the menu, but we went with the house wine (Rosé). Prices were adequate. Service was also nice, we enjoyed our time there - thank you Petiscaria Decanter! We will definitely recommend you.

food was wonderful so I gave an excellent review. please sort out the Sangria. Very tasteless compared to other restaurants would never order again. did not offer tap water on request and wanted us to purchase. so we were not served water as we refused to buy.

Nice service, lovely food. We had beef carpaccio (good portion) and tuna for starters and both were fresh and tasty 😋. Octopus and pork leg main dishes were also delicious and portion sizes were large.

lovely family owned petiscaria , with home made traditional portuguese dishes. We enjoyed the polvo and the bacalhau. Recommended if you want a taste of the authentic Algarve

The place has really good ambience. We booked through The Fork and it was 50% off the a la cart menu. We ordered I think cod in cream from oven with side salad and tuna salad. To be honest food was average, my cod was more cream than cod and my side salad was exactly the same as tuna salad but no tuna. Dessert was ok and we went for pitch of sangria which was fine. If it wasn't 50% off I would never pay full price for that meal there was nothing intriguing in that meal.

Great food and friendly service. Had the smoked tuna salad, baked cod, and the braised pork shank - everything were tasty and fresh. The owner is also very friendly. Highly recommended. 👍🏼
