My friend and I really love eating here. We keep coming back every few months, because we keep craving the amazing food they serve. The staff is really nice and hospitable, so we always have great service. I recommend this restaurant to everyone who loves good quality Indian food!

10/10We absolutely love coming to this restaurant – it’s become one of our favorite places in The Hague. The food is always delicious, with the Muligatawny soup and Dhansak being real highlights. The flavors are rich, comforting, and perfectly spiced. The staff are always kind and welcoming, and they make us feel at home every time we visit. You can really tell they care about both the food and their guests. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic Indian cuisine with warm service and a cozy atmosphere!

4/10I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but people need to be warned for this one. The service was great, but there are many things I found alarming. There were flies (or some other insect) all around us and our food (indoors). These were also present in the women’s restroom. Some of the tables did not look clean—including ours. The food was simply bad. It seemed like it was made many days ahead of time, and microwaved. I’m not sure if that’s the case—but the people in my party all agreed it tasted like it was. The lack of cleanliness overall was concerning, and the quality of the food was worse than frozen meals. When it was time to make the food? The restaurant would seal the door to the kitchen. Overall, it felt a little unsafe and like they had given up.

9.5/10A restaurant I would not have found myself , so happy I booked with the Fork because its a hidden gem. For soem cuisines I think the less fancy place, the better the food! The Taj Mahal is nice inside but nothing fancy but the food was Delicious!! My veg curry was very tasty and the Naan bread very good too! Will go back!

10/10We had a delightful family dinner for four at this charming, family-owned restaurant. It has welcoming atmosphere and exceptional service - attentive without being intrusive. The menu offered something for everyone and the food was delicious. The owner couple went above and beyond to respond to our needs with genuine care. Thank you very much again!

4.5/10There are many nice Indian restaurants in The Hague and this is not one of them. Food was very average to say it nicely. Staff was very busy with each other and making a lot of noise. Atmosphere was lacking. No idea why other reviews ar so high... Would not recommend.

5/10Not much positive about the restaurant. Very spicy food and seems to be more oriented towards Indian spicy rather than international spiciness in taste. Hygiene is something missing, plates weren't clean and not properly washed.. hope they get this better eventually

6/10Service was quick, food was average. We ordered korma and a butter chicken. Butter chicken was nice, but they used chicken breast instead of the thighs which made it a little bit dry. Korma was so so, quite sweet for a korma. Ambience is also not great, quite an old place which hasn’t been renewed a while with a pipe sticking out of the ground next to our table.

9/10We were the only table (on a Monday evening), This reduce the ambiance, but on the other hand we had the service and the kitchen all for us. Nice service, no waiting. The plates are very rich in flavours and colours and the choices are multiple. However the portions seemed to have received the same treatment than the final price: reduced by 50%.. We ended up anyway satisfied with an excellent overall experience for just 25 Euro each

7/10So, the food is seriously good. But, to be honest, the service was kinda meh. Our waiter had this aggressive vibe. We booked for 6 PM, but by 7 PM, he was rushing us to pay, even though we were still sipping our drinks. Said no to dessert, and boom, he brings the bill. Plus, we had a discount from an app, but he forgot to apply it. When we reminded him, he asked if we were leaving soon for the next booking. Not cool, right? Food's great, but the attitude? Not so friendly, and you gotta remind them about discount.

6/10Good food and clean local, these are definitely the positive points. I had booked at least 1 month in advance but the afternoon before dinner I was contacted by the restaurateur who told me he hadn't seen my reservation (at 19.30) and was waiting for 40 guests (at 20.00) and asked me to anticipate at 18.30. After my protests we agrred 7.15pm but I found this to be unfair. Upon arrival the restaurateur gave us a table in the back room asking to order quickly and eat quickly because he was waiting for other guests. We left the restaurant at 8.20pm but the 40 guests didn't show up...karma?

8/10The restaurant was very small and tables were rather too close together. The food was delicious although some garnish on the plates and some chutneys and relishes to accompany the dishes would have been nice. It was very busy at 6:30pm but, even though it was a Saturday night, by 8pm the restaurant was empty. We had to remind the waiter about the 30% discount on the food order and the bill had to be recalculated.

10/10My partner and I needed to leave straight after we had our starter due to a family emergency. The team where fantastic and totally understood. Our meal was packed up along with our bottle of wine, no questions asked. We did eventually enjoy our food later in the evening and it was beautiful, everything was amazing. A total fantastic team! We highly recommend this place for quality, service and good food for a good price! Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to returning soon.
