2/10The food was really bad. The bread was frozen bread. The curries tasted stale and bad. Its not indian cuisine at all as advertised. Really pathetic

10/10We had just arrived in Sweden and I knew we'd be hungry. I'd made the reservations (not necessarily needed) but for a Friday wanted to be sure. And it was worth it. They made an exception for me and "created" a dish. Amazing and definitely the best Indian I've had in Europe.

10/10They had nice Thali plates but I preferred the veg option. My partner had the lamb kadai and he was happy to say it was pleasantly (strong) spicy. Aesthetically pleasing plating for all the dishes we ordered. Impressed that the restaurant was full and yet the service did not seem to lag. It was kind of the staff to let me have my dog with.

4/10We have paid 180kr (almost 17EUR) for one tequila shot, the most expensive drink I ever had in my life. In the menu it was listed to 30kr - the menu did not have an English translation. Apparently the 30kr price from the menu was per 10cl, and the waiter didn’t thought it was necessary to tell us. We felt scammed. The experience was totally unpleasant.

10/10Palak panner, vegetable pakoda and paratha are amazing. They have a special way to make it and so far I visited 4 times Tamarind and all the time they gave the food with the same taste, which is amazing. They are very kind and gentle with their hospitality.

8/10Compact quiet place, simple. Service was good, man was attentive to our preferences, gave advices, was kind and smiley that made it even more pleasant. A big plus - not alot of sugary products in our food. Lots of restaurants do that - it is such a trick they use to make your plate sweater, hence you can be full faster. Less sugar - closer to original cuisine I would say. Big minus - no options for vegans. (Just one or two dishes)

9.5/10Nice restaurant! Hoped for a good curry like you get in the UK, but couldn't read the menu or see quite what I wanted so asked got a chicken curry with ginger garlic and chilli and got something lovely. Curry's came with rice and salad, but I got a garlic naan, which was not what I expected, but still very nice. Only negative was the music sounded like we were in a spa, too many birds! Otherwise e recommend.

10/10We visited last Sunday after reading positive reviews. We just stepped by, trying our luck. Surprisingly, it was very quite and we had no trouble getting a table. Normally it may be a warning sign when it's not very busy. In this case, it turns out the place is still new, and I guess people still need to discover it. But wow, this is a true hidden gem. The food is amazing. We've had Indian food all over the world, but this was definitely among the best. And the people are very friendly and the service is great. The Tamarind deserves to be fully booked every night in the near future!
