Returning to this reliable pizzeria was as expected- very nice indeed. I introduced 2 chums to my favourite Calazone -& they liked it very much! I fancied it may have been slightly smaller than usual.. with the filling not quite as ample.. but it was still very good. Bit mean with the basilico garnish though! We shared everything including the well-constructed Greek salad & my chum’s choice of pizza …which included both a spicy salami and a njuda paste for satisfying depth of flavour. It’s always frustrating anywhere to be handed a wine list without any qualifications, & following one’s carefully chosen selection- you’re only then told they’ve zero stock …grr. When the second choice came it wasn’t the year listed - so this part of the evening didn’t exactly please me. Friendly & careful teamwork at table ensured we were all good - & although it’s a little higher in price than some other places nearby- I’m still a fan ! Recommended. With just a few slight qualifications.

Great food, good vibes, good prices and good location. Ravioli and tagliatelle are very good!

We loved the relaxed atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive. We loved the pizza. We would come again on our next trip to Florence.

The food was excellent and the ambience and the location too

Location is very good with tables outside next to all the people enjoying the evening, providing a relaxed atmosphere while at the same time taking in Firenze life. Tha carbonara dish was sadly extremely bland. Nice pasta, but with a gooey cheese and no taste. After getting the actual order correct, which was the same with truffles, to my disappointment the truffles had absolutely no smell or taste. Unfortunately the biggest culinary disappointment of the trip.

Good food. Lackluster service. Lively atmosphere. Had Greek salad, pasta & pesche creme dessert. All very good.

Wonderful service. Cool place. The food was good, but not great.

Friendly service but food was average. Pastas weren’t particularly flavourful. Prices didn’t meet the quality of the food.

Food was great, but like the others mentioned the service was a little slow - called the waiters multiple times but no one came back until after awhile

Great food but a 1 hour wait between courses. There was a thunderstorm which meant they suddenly had to sit the outside people inside, but we felt we went to the back of the queue.

Embarrasing.

The food was outstanding. The fried zucchini appetizers and the pizza were both stand out dishes. We did not try any pasta

We got a recommendation from a friend and we went there around 8:30 pm. We ordered a cheese plate for starter and it took them 30 minutes to get us the cheese plate whole tables that were seated after us got their starters and drinks. after the waiter screamed at us and was rude for the whole time the manager got involved we asked not to get service from this specific waiter and the situation got better. We got the food right after and the food was good. The manager provided some compensation which eased our discomfort.

Try the pasta - get the house wine and the tiramisu. You will not be disappointed. Music is jazzy. Deco is artsy-chique-shabby. Worth a visit.

Friendly atmosphere, and above all: great live music!

Lovely restaurant - good food great service. A bit away from the main busy areas. The sort of place for locals.

Good was amazing. Atmosphere was great. Service was very bad.

Good proper Italian food at reasonable prices - not to be taken for granted as so many places in Florence cater solely for tourists (bad quality and inflated prices) - Tamerò is my go to when meeting up with friends who come and visit Florence. A stone’s throw away from the crowded centre, pleasant atmosphere, especially on a warm summer evening when you can sit outside and admire the views of piazza Santo Spirito, homemade fresh pasta, excellent pizzas all made with quality ingredients. Service is timely and efficient without being rushed. A definite thumbs up.

Food was pretty good. However, the waitstaff was horrible and that ruined our experience. They would make lewd gestures about women they were serving or women that were walking by. The would openly speak negatively about us and other diners in front of us (they didn't know I speak a little Italian and understood). It seemed like the restaurant was run by kids. I will never go back, which is too bad, because the food was pretty good.

Absolutely the best pizza we have had in Italy.! Crust perfection and the tomato sauce so so fresh and flavorful! Delicious pumpkin soup. Lovely menu and nice outdoor setting.

Lively location on Piazza Santo Spirito. Service was attentive, menu selections are eclectic yet consistently solid. A great option for rustic Tuscan food.

Wasn’t the best pizza we had, would not come back

Food was good but service was not good. Had to ask for cutlery to be able to eat, waitress rolled her eyes at this request! Waiter did not seem to know what he was doing.

Service was quite slow. We had to ask for our wine a few times.

Pizza was really really good, the waiters were very nice but we had to wait to much for just six pizzas....

This was our second visit and able to enjoy Tamerò's pizza, rather than pasta, this time. The Agrodolce (anchovies & caramelised onions) was very flavoursome and well balanced, albeit the Parmigiana a little bland for our tastes. The tuna tartare starter and dolci were delicious and very high quality. We were seated outside on the square, the service although welcoming and very pleasant proved to be a little sporadict.

Everything was great! Atmospheric place where locals have their lunch and dinner.

Good pizza on a quiet night in February. 53 euros for 4 pizzas and drinks. Slightly austere surroundings but I'm sure that's not a problem when it's busy. Popular with locals which is always a good sign.

Nice restaurant with a rock&roll athmosphere. Kind staff. I personally had the pici and they were very good.

We booked after simply searching around for a good classic pizza place. This place had all we wanted: great pizza and a cool vibe including friendly staff and pizza chefs who move to the music (a cool selection of 60’s-70’s classics on the night we were there!)... Loved the mid-century meets old school Florence decor too!

Delicious food and a lovely team! We loved the pizza and the service was fantastic!
