A charming little Indian restaurant in Nice old town. The portions were generous and food quality good. I personally would have liked a little more spice, but I appreciate that's not the same for everyone. Service was excellent.

Cosy restaurant, with excellent front of house waitress who looked after us very well. Very authentic Indian food. We started with papadums followed by vegetable samosas which were clearly homemade and delicious. Our mains were tadka daal, chicken saag and tandoori salmon which were really tasty with accompanying raita, roti and boiled rice. Everything was cooked well and delicious. Highly recommended.

The meal delivery time was perfect. The ambience was amazing as well. My friends ordered paneer and expected a tofu/cheese dish but were delighted when they were served the actual indian paneer which is very rare even among indian restaurants. The tandoori chicken and the naans were at par to indian tandoor cooked items. However, three among 5 of us ordered biryani (chicken and prawn) and expected it to be "Indian" and specifically South Indian style biryani as the nice lady was from the South. We felt a bit disappointed when we were served something which I would say were chicken and prawn fried rice. It wasn't that bad considering the fact that we were in France. However, we felt a little warning would have been helpful and would have ordered some curry with rice or naan. The amount was good, but since the prices were a bit higher (not very high compared to European meals) we would have been happy and content with the nice authentic curries available at the restaurant.
