This restaurant is what I would call a hidden gem. It’s located in a residential area and doesn’t seem to stand out from outward appearances, but inside is very aesthetic and the backyard outdoor area is a tropical ambiance. The food was excellent and fresh! The service was top notch. The overall vibe was like eating a secret location the hits all your senses. Highly recommend!

I loved this restaurant. The food was delicious and beautifully presented and the staff were lovely. I went at 7.30pm and just wished I had gone later as I was the only one in the restaurant for the first half hour.

Absolutely outstanding meal at Tannura Osteria. We stayed in Palermo for 6 days and Tannura was by far the best restaurant we visited. The quality, choice and presentation of the food was excellent and the service exemplary. I had beef tartare for starter, seared tuna with sesame for the main and the most amazing caramelised pear with ice cream for dessert. I would be a frequent diner at Tannura if I lived in Palermo! Well done guys and thank you for the fabulous dining experience

We had dinner for three people. The food was excellent: The ingedients choosend carefully and the dishes harmonious and on point. The service was very friendly and giving us a welcoming feeling.

Off the beaten path away from tourists, great for date night. Excellent fresh seasonal ingredients, wonderful flavors of land and sea. Service is topnotch, decor is bright and airy. Music sets the mood right. Love this osteria!

Tannura OsteriaDear customer, we are confused about your review: the garden adiecent to us is a cultural community which, just last night, organized a children's party. This is not under our control and we don't consider it such a valid problem at the point to leave the restaurant angry with our staff, discreting the dinner, after having complimented it. This seems very pretentious to us... thanks anyway!

The kitchen is not interesting. For some reason all the dishes were served cold. And pasta too. The price does not correspond to the level of the restaurant. She’s taller. There was no wine, they offered a more expensive replacement.

Staff and service were great. For Italy, the food was mediocre. The serving were also small that considering the cost, it was not value for money.
Tannura OsteriaDear customer, thank you for your words but we would have preferred to find the same criticism also on site: "four" as a vote to the kitchen implies leaving the dishes chosen for personal disgust but this did not happen, each dish was withdrawn empty so we do not understand where the problem was! We use raw materials from our land and prices are also very low: 10 euros for an appetizer, 18 euros for a second course and 6 euros for a glass of wine ... What less can we ask for? Thanks anyway and see you next time!

I was brought to my seat by a lovely waitress and was quickly asked if I would like a drink and was given a menu. Both the aperto spritz, zucchini and gnocchi could not be faulted.

I wanted to find a restaurant for a special occasion and was very pleased with this place. We drank some lovely wine and had some beautifully prepared and tasty meals. It's a little expensive (compared to other Palermo places to eat) but or a special occasion was just perfect. The service was friendly and the ambience was cosy and calm. Sublime.
