10/10Place was FANTASTIC. Seriously. Simple but excellent atmosphere - everything clean, everything neat. Food was excellent. The owner was working and was an excellent host. The place was very busy - almost every table - but we never felt rushed. Atop all that, the wine list was extensive for a variety - especially reds. Heck, the prices were even reasonable!

9/10All nice, good food, friendly helpful chef and staff, only the music is a bit too loud and noisy as always. Would be better if Tanta Roba makes it surround sound that can be heard form every conner and plays much more delicate soft, not only dominant at the end-side- close to the kitchen and bar.

9.5/10Very nice food and really good and friendly service. Music level a bit too loud and not really needed as atmosphere is good and authentic. Drinks are overpriced though.

5/10The food was a mixed experience. The meat was excellent, and so was the dessert. We did not get bread, the starter was cold, we had to send it back to the kitchen. Somewhat disappointing overall, particularly in view of the stiff price.

6/10We didn’t realise when we booked a table at Tanta Roba, that it had changed hands, it was not as good as it used to be, no specialities, but a menu card, the antipasti all put on one plate, which looked rather a mess, parmigiano nearly on everything, so hard to eat for the one person at the table with a lactose intolerance, and the scallopini al vino e limone had melted cheese on it! It was not on the menu, so we had to send it back! Server very friendly and accommodating but it was just no longer the Tanta Roba of Old, no good surprises, it used to be our favorite restaurant whenever we are in Holland, but with the old chef and David gone, it has turned into a mediocre restaurant!

5/10This has been a regular date night spot for us for several years. After Covid, management has changed and and it seems they are trying hard to rebuild the brand. We went there for Valentine celebration and again today for my wife’s birthday. Antipasti was good and the recommended wine (Zeni Amarone) was excellent. However the main course was subpar - I had eggplant Parmagano which was salty. My wife had gnocchi which was over cooked and no taste. The server took the gnocchi back and “spiced it up” which made it more edible. But all in all poor value for the price.

10/10This restaurant was a joy. From the staff, to the cook, to management, everyone stopped by to check on our experience. The food was fantastic, the linguine and clams was the best that we’ve ever eaten. The wine list was very very varied, and we were able to have wine that we have never found outside of Italy. We would highly recommend this restaurant whenever you’re in town

5.5/10Disappointing. We loved this place before and have had good experiences. Also understand these are tough times and it was a difficult night for them but they should have made more effort to compensate when things went wrong. And they did: a) we arrived and they didn’t have our reservation and we had to wait b) the “recommendation of the house” antipasto was very bad c) we were told they’d compensate for the wait, so when they offered a limoncello we thought oh well fair enough… but then they charged for that too! Way overpriced for what it was.

9.5/10Arguably the best Italian restaurant in The Hague. The antipasti misti are great and if you love truffels, try the pasta al tartuffo! Good vermentino from Tuscany and an excellent primitivo by the glass. We’ ve been here quite a few times and we’ll be back!
