10/10The food was fantastic. We had roast chicken croquettes,, broken eggs with Iberian ham ,and the famous bikini sandwich. Service excellent, fast, efficient and friendly. Will definitely return.

4.5/10Huge disappointment having read a glowing review in the Guardian. Waitress was good but only one so rushed off her feet so long waits. No atmosphere / scruffy decor /loo. 17 euros for 4 anchovies!! .over priced fur no reason . No Spanish eating there - only tourists so that's a sign . Riding on location - poor menu. No choice for a coeliac. Worse place we are at - much more local and genuine restaurants just a few metres away.

7.5/10The food and the service was good. I found it odd that the interior of the restaurant did not have regular seating but just high chairs and no back support. Not good for seniors. Chiefly though I found that the prices for the individual tapas were way out of wack. Far too expensive. Enjoying a meal does not require a bill of 180 Euros for a bottle of local wine and several tapas for two. Barcelona has opted to overcharge customers while it has global attention. That can and will kill the golden goose

2/10We had two very very good experiences in this tapas24 Every dish was delicious and the taste of the fresh food which was so refreshing presented Like the oysters with espuma But this is no more possible as the quality was so cheap and even the best cook could not find out how to make a good meal French fries with mayonnaise and a fried egg Calamari and Anchovies with 2 glass of wine for 60€ per person Never again

5/10Ate here in early November 2023. Food was pretty bad. Chewy, flavorless, overcooked calamari. Albondigas giant but odd flavor. Pastrami was decent and eggplant was nice and smoky

10/10We came here since Jose Andres did a segment on it on his CNN show. It did not disappoint! The staff were a lot of fun and the food was delicious. We did make reservations from the states which was easy. I would highly recommend this little gem

8/10The best tapas I have ever had! It was a bit chaotic when I arrived although I had made reservations. I had to wait 30 min to get attendance. But if you can wait the food is worth the wait!!!

9.5/10The food was fantastic tapas! We didn’t have a reservation and the restaurant was crowded on a Saturday night. We started at the bar and the staff found a table for us. The service was terrific and the experience was great!

10/10This restaurant lived up to the hype generated by a celebrity chef. Creative and elevated tapas were served by an attentive staff. We loved the place so much we went back a second time. Our waiter even remembered us.

7/10Been here for years - every trip to Barcelona - this is a stop & I always recommend…. Until now. Very disappointing- ordered 4 dishes - they didn’t have them, including a wine on the list. Food was good/solid, but lacked the creativity it used to have. Sadly, won’t be back. Too many other creative kitchens in this city

3/10This restaurant was featured on Jose Andres’s show so we were excited to visit. The food was overpriced and did not blow us away. We were mostly disappointed and this is a touristy spot with subpar food.

4.5/10I ate at this establishment many years ago and it was a place where getting reservations and a seat was almost impossible and a good hour wait outside. Unfortunately this place is no longer the same. Food quality is not great and choices are very limited compare to what it was years ago. Service was ok, however the restaurant lacks cleanliness and poorly maintained. Was pretty disappointed. Shame on the owners for something that had so much potential and now barely holds a 3.8 rating which in my opinion is generous. I say a 2.5 at best.

10/10Fantastic and innovative tapas from a restaurant recommended by renowned chef and humanitarian Jose Andres. Jose, a native of Barcelona was inspired by the cooking here when he launched his first Tapas restaurant, Joleo, in Washington, DC (recounted in his Jose and Family food travel streaming show). It lives up to his enthusiastic endorsement: great cooking, presentation, and service (responsive and friendly), in a nice covered on street patio. Lots of tourists because it’s become recommended but a number of travel guides and sites too, but it hasn’t lost its authenticity. Not to be missed!

9.5/10Last dinner in Barcelona until next time: Quaint, clean, extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Shout out to our waiter who stopped us from ordering too much food. He knew! :-) We ordered (thanks to him) just enough dishes to leave us super satisfied and leaving just enough room for their incredibly fluffy cheesecake to enjoy with fresh jam. A friend of mine from back home in Canada had recommended this restaurant to us and we now sure know why she did! The menu is not overwhelming and composed of simple ingredients for each dish, combined to create complex flavours making each very memorable. Muchas gracias!
