9/10It’s a great little place in the back street of Olhao. The wine is good and they have specials. We had the fried fish selection which was tasty. The prawns were big and delicious and we ended with the baked goats cheese with honey and almonds which we always have. It’s so good.

9.5/10Great food at a really great price., and an extensive menu as well. Servers were lovely.. We ate here twice in our 6 day stay in Olhao. Would def advise you to book as can be very busy. Always a good sign!

10/10We eat at Tapas e lendas 4 times during our holiday. Great food very friendly staff and super ambiance. We will certainly return next holiday. We recommend booking a table in advance to avoid disappointment.

10/10Our third visit to Tapas e Lendas and there is a reason for that, the tapas, the service and the wine are all top-notch. The Chevre with Honey and Almonds is worth the visit alone. The only disappointing part was we were unable to leave a tip for the excellent service, as cant add a tip onto the bill and we were cashless. That said, we will be back.

10/10Great little restaurant, situated slightly back of the main drag of Olhao. Our waitress was extremely lovely and gave me an aperitif when she realised it was my Birthday. The dishes were all great with a slight twist on traditional Portuguese, the main attraction w was the prawns in the chefs secret sauce !

7/10The food was good overall and the panecotta ice cream was especially delicious. The tables were very close together and the service was slow, although they were 1 staff person down which was probably the reason. We had a nice time overall.

10/10This was the best restaurant we ate at in Olhão by a country mile, so good we ate there twice. Excellent value for money, an extensive, varied menu and service with a smile from the hardworking staff. Highly recommended.

9/10Rustic restaurant, busy with good food, Food arrived quickly however getting additional dishes and drinks proved to be a challenge. Wine list inaccurate with much not available and many choices not on list. Staff were friendly even if overworked.

Travelling a bit around Portugal and spent 3 nights in Ohlao which has vast array of restaurants, but having dined in Tapas e Ledas, enjoyed the relaxed Tapas dining experience, the friendly service, the wine and the excellent food it was easy to select where to dine on our last night before returning to Ireland. Thanks for 2 great night guys!

2/10Booked on the Fork, arrived for our time. No table the waitress tried her best, the owner/manager was just rude. Had no solution. A table outside in the tent with rain coming down the wall.

5.5/10Small inside and the seating was uncomfortable - stools with a cushion. Unfortunately 2 orders of fried chicken were undercooked although other chicken ordered was fine. Most of the food was very good. The waiter didn't charge for the chicken. We were alarmed to see a small cockroach behind someone's seat as we got up to leave.

5/10The experience in this restaurant was unfortunately disappointing. Even at the beginning, most of the dishes on the menu were not available, which the waiter told us. Unfortunately, the list of unavailable dishes was so extensive that it was difficult to keep everything in mind. When we went to order, we accidentally caught some of these unavailable dishes. It was disappointing that the waitress did not offer any alternatives. We decided to order some available dishes first and look over the menu later to order replacements for the unavailable items. Unfortunately, the waitress did not return to us after that, neither to offer new drinks nor to take our announced re-order. The food we ordered arrived quickly, but unfortunately so quickly that we had no opportunity to order new dishes. When we finished eating and tried to draw attention to ourselves, we were ignored by the service staff. Only when we were visibly disappointed and unhappy were we noticed. However, we were not asked if we would like to place the announced second order; instead, we were simply offered the bill in a friendly manner. At this point, we already had no desire to linger there any longer. The service seemed extremely stressed, which led to a lack of effective service. However, this was not due to the waitress, but to what we saw as poor organization in the restaurant. Perhaps an additional waitress could have solved the problem. Nevertheless, it must be said that the food was really delicious. Unfortunately, due to the poor service, we were forced to go later to another restaurant where we were served in an exemplary manner. A better organization and sufficient staff could contribute significantly to improving the situation. In addition, we feel that the price-performance ratio is not optimal, the food tastes excellent, but for this price, in our eyes, too little is offered.

10/10This place is amazing. I've been many times and the food is always consistently good. My friend loved the oyster bruschetta. We got the bife tres quiejos, which is always amazing. And definitely get the petit gateau for dessert...it's chocolate lava cake.

8/10This is our 4th visit in 2 years, so we obviously like it! In summary, food is really good, but the service could be better - more responsive and SMILE please. It does depend who you get I think and last year the smiley, smart, chatty waitress was largely the reason we went back - this year service hasn't been as good, but very fixable so I hope the owner reads this!
