I came here in March and it was superb. I recommended to my daughter, who then booked for for 6 people via ‘the fork’. When they arrived the staff had no record of her booking and didn’t have a table for them. So after booking via ‘the fork’ I then emailed direct and received confirmation of my booking. However when I arrived, again the staff said they weren’t aware of our booking but as only 2 of us they gave us a table. We ordered Red wine, they brought us white, then the wrong red - then told us they only had one type of red (in a tapas bar - really ?!). They brought the food but (ironically) no forks - almost impossible to get the 4 staffs attention even when they were within ‘spitting’ distance! The chorizo was inedible (we didn’t pay for it). The wine was poor. The waitress dropped a tray of glasses at the foot of the table next to us. They cleared our plates while we were still eating and took my husbands wine glass when he went to the loo! The bill at the end of the meal was incorrect. They did give us a complimentary glass of port but bashed about clearing up around us, so hardly the chilled tapas dining experience we were expecting. As we left a waiter tried dragging in a huge yucca plant pot from outside but failed to see the step, tipping it and a pile of soil in the doorway! Chaos! I don’t think I’ve written a bad review before but this one had to be done!
