9/10This was the perfect place to meet cousins we had not seen in a while. Lots of drinks, their kids were able to order dish after dish while we chatted for ages. I found plenty of vegetarian options while the meat and shrimp lovers got their fill. I can only speak for myself -- yummy mushrooms with quail eggs, dissapointing patas bravas. The pitcher of sangria was refreshing. The location was lovely.

9/10Beautiful setting sitting outside. Service was very friendly! The portion sizes were really big, compared to what we would get in the UK so good value for money. Would recommend.

3.5/10Tourist trap, not good. Food is not fresh, very low standard. It’s the type of restaurant that you’d go if you’re really hungry and can’t find anywhere else to go.

6.5/10Food was great, but service terrible. People at the other tables left after half an hour without having ordered anything. Because nobody showed up. Extra plus: Sitting directly at the cathedral walls.

6.5/10It's good to try different things if you're not a local. Every time that the waiters came to our table, they spoke in English when we always spoke back in Portuguese. The portions could be bigger for the price. Nice decor

9/10We came as a British family looking for some tapas and this restaurant didn’t disappoint at all! It was very busy and loud but that’s pretty much all of the downsides. The food came very quickly and it was delicious! We weren’t expecting it to come so quick but we were very happy and satisfied with this restaurant and recommend it to anyone who wants some high quality tapas

5.5/10Lovely location and building. Service was so-so - not enough servers so lacked attention to customers. The main issue for us was the food - again very so-so. We have had very much better tapas in other locations in Portugal during this trip. For example prawn tortilla - was like a thin omelette with a few bits of potatoes and 1 prawn on top. We would not go back and would not recommend.

7/10Nice location, however tables were very small (difficult for ordering a range of Tapas). They forgot Tapas and sometimes it was very uncomfortable because they had to arrange table to get more customers into the restaurant..

8/10A cosy restaurant, relaxing music in the background and very friendly staff. We even got one (tasty) codfish dish for free. If all the tapas dishes were equally good, I would give it maximum score. Unfortunately, the BBQ ribs were very tough to eat. The other ones (BBQ chicken, codfish pies and french fries) were very good though...

3/10We felt the service here was really disappointing, the staff were not attentive at all, and we had to go up to ask to order, our drinks came after the food even though we asked multiple times. It was very difficult to get their attention. The restaurant is extremely cramped and so the staff are tripping over everyones chairs, we spent most of the meal moving things that they served us right on the edges of the table and picking things up off the floor! The atmosphere was tense and stressed and the food was average and dishes were forgotten. I would not recommend.

5.5/10Despite the amount of dishes on the menu we struggled to pick 5 that went well together. I don’t like fish so that cut our choices down by a third. There were some nice veggie dishes but they were very carb heavy (bread, rice, potato based). There was a lack of meat dishes unless you wanted a variation on pork/sausage. Vegans would have struggled too as cheese featured in a lot of the veggie/salad dishes.

10/10We booked for 6 people for 7.30 for a work evening out but ended up being late & only 4 due to delayed taxi & sickness! The restaurant was totally understanding. 1 member of the group was vegetarian and this restaurant offered more choice for vegetarians than most others in Lisbon (unless fully vegetarian, but only I was vegetarian we wanted somewhere with more options). The location was great - close to the Cathedral, and the restaurant atmosphere was perfect - lighting was understated and attractive, nice noise level, still easy to chat, the service was excellent & the food (veggie & non veggie options) was delicious. No complaints at all, we were not rushed nor did we have to wait for an unduly long time, the staff were attentive without being overbearing. We all thoroughly recommend Tapas N Friends - thank you to the team!

5.5/10We came here because of the reviews but I can’t really understand why they were so good. Nice environment and setting, food was good (nothing special but good tapas) just keep in mind that it was expensive. What ruined our experience was the lack of service. The waiter did not talk to us at all..no hi, goodbye, or even how was the food? Because of the lack of service I would not recommend this place.

10/10We booked a table for December 25th 2018 and had an amazing night. The staff is lovely and the food delicious! We ordered a lovely bottle of wine and many more after that. It was perfect with the food we ordered. The desserts are very good too. We had lunch here too and when back in Lisbon we would come back here! Highly recommended! X The Netherlands
