Based on the reviews we read, we were expecting a much higher standard of food. We’ve eaten Indian food regularly before coming to Italy and unfortunately this didn’t come close to those experiences.

Small quantity. Lamb Briyani not authentically Indian. No wow factor. Small portion for that price. Lamb was not very tender. The Chicken Madras is chicken breast meat which is cheaper than thigh meat. Dal was a bit salty. Mango lassi was very small kids glass size for €5. Garlic naan was good.

What a place I did not know before! Amazing food, meat and veg, unforgettable bread and loved the cocco desert too. The atmosfere is cozy and intimate, but the best part is the super helpful and funny and sweet staff who really made it worthy. Super recommended

It was not my first time in Tara and will not be the last one. I really like this place! The food is great, at fair price, the staff is very nice & helpful. What I appreciate the most is the ambient! I just like the atmosphere there!

Great food. Perfectly spiced with kind staff. We ordered starterd and main courses. The chicken rolls were amazing as was the curry tikka masala and the tandori. Great indian food.

It is good Indian food in Milan, we ordered the samosa chat, onion rings, kadai paneer, veg pulao, prawn pulao, jeera rice, lassi - mango and sweet, gulab jamun, kulfi. Samosa chat and onion rings were decent, kadai paneer - was spiced up probably using chili powder which could have been better - nevertheless the taste was good, pulao was decent again - it had shredded coconut as well with the rice, the mango lassi was thick while the normal lassi wasn’t as thick which was disappointing (i am a sucker for lassi and hence it was a let down), the sweets were good too, specifically the kulfi. Overall, you get good Indian food here better than most other places in Milan.

I had dinner here with friends and it was as good as when I used to go this same restaurant some years back. Food was delicious with an agreeable balance of flavours, spices and herbs. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Still the best Indian restaurant in Milan for atmosphere, service and naturally Indian food.

Liked the food and the staff. Would consider to go again. Small head's up, if you are gonna order something spicy, be very sure to check with the staff. I am an Indian and I have good tolerance to spicy food hence I ordered a dish with double or triple chili rated spiciness as I though regular would be very mild. Liked the food but it is a bit too much spicy though.

The restaurant is well decorated, it’s cozy and the staff is extremely nice and efficient. Good variety of dishes from northern India, some of which we found very good (like the chicken skewers) and other average (like the vehicles tikka masala). Having been to India two times and to other Indian restaurants in milan we find the overall quality good but not great.

I've been yesterday with two friends, the team was very welcoming, English-speaking, very good vegetarian/vegan menu for us, in general we were very pleased! We tasted the Indian beer cobra also, very good. The food was prepared super fast and the staff was friendly.
