10/10We were visiting from the USA. This place is special. The food is amazing! Everything we ate was incredibly delicious. Thank you to our fantastic server Edgar who made wonderful recommendations. We were treated extremely well and highly recommend!!

10/10This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend. I think I am glad that that was the case. I found the food really tasty and unlike other high end restaurants, they give very good portions. I am definitely going back.

10/10The food was very well made. We had a sommelière with our group that paired the wine with excellence. Good wine selection for the food offered and nice overall experience and ambiance. We will definitely come back!

10/10Service is really friendly and attentive. They are there when they need to, bring a good amount of humor and have good recommendations for food and wine. The food is simply the best we had in Lisbon, fresh, tasty and well presented. We went for lunch bcoz dinner was fully booked, but still great experience and we recommend everyone who visits Lisbon to make a stop here

10/10The perfect place for upscale traditional Portuguese food. The menu selection is excellent with something for everyone. The staff are very friendly. We live in this neighborhood and think it is one of the best, especially because it is non-touristy.

10/10This was the best meal we had in Lisbon. It’s cozy inside, the service is spectacular and the food was amazing. Our favorite things were the cockles in lemon, tuna tare tare and the pork shank! Don’t miss this place!

10/10The restaurant was so cute and the staff was very welcoming. We had a lot of questions about the different tapas and entrees and they were eager to respond and provide recommendations. We loved everything we got and would definitely go again. So glad we found this spot during our trip!

10/10We absolutely loved our meal at Tasca da Esquina! It seemed full of many locals and fewer tourists which is always a good sign. We were traveling with friends, and got to try many menu items. The salt cod with egg and potato, the scallops, and the tuna steak were incredible bites. We’d never tried fried octopus, and this version was a real treat. Our server was an integral part of our amazing experience - from his warm and welcoming manner to his excellent food and wine recommendations. We were so happy when we left!

10/10This was one of our favorite meals in the 10 days we were in Portugal. The food was excellent but the service was on another level. Pedro was just about the nicest guy we met in Lisbon, very attentive (which is kinda hard to find in Europe if you're used to American service), brought us a few snacks on the house and a small glass of Port too to top it off. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough, ask for Pedro if he doesn't greet you!

10/10We first went to Tasca da Esquina 8 years ago on our first visit to Lisbon. It was enchanting.....so we decided to revisit it on our last night in Lisbon this trip. It was still enchanting and just as memorable as we remembered. Superb food, staff and ambiance.

The food was delicious and so beautifully cooked; the staff were amazing - knowledgeable about the food, helpful about wine choices, friendly and interesting (thank you Edgar!) - and they have excellent wines. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Lisbon

10/10I chose Tasca da Esquina blindly, based only on the fact that there's a place with the same name in my hometown, and I don't regret the choice. Everything exceeded my expectations, from service to the food and wine suggestion. Portions are right-sized and the codfish was absolutely fantastic. You get there by tram 28E, so it's also a scenic ride. The price is not too expensive considering what you get. It's a place I would safely reccomend to anyone.

10/10The kindest and most wonderful team in all of Lisbon. The meal was excellent and the staff’s care of us and our baby was, as always, perfect. This is our favorite restaurant in Lisbon for a reason: fantastic food and wonderful service. Can’t ask for anything more!

10/10The food at Tasca de Esquina is fantastic. Elevated Portuguese cuisine prepared, plated, and served with exquisite detail. But I wanted to mention the service. The staff have always been wonderful on each of our visits. But today, our baby became fussy at the exact moment when our mains arrived. Without hesitation, our server offered to hold our baby, took him on a tour of the restaurant and kitchen, and played with him while we ate. I can’t possibly write enough superlatives to describe this immensely kind gesture. We will always remember it, and this restaurant has earned new lifetime regulars. Thank you!

10/10it was wow from start to finish. We ordered many of the sharing plates, where one was one was better than the other - however, shrimp with rosmarin and chili, scallops and the beef tongue were mind blowing!
