Have visited this restaurant on many occasions, the last being in August this year. Unfortunately there appears to be a significant decrease in the quality of both the food and the service since our last visit. Although we could not fault the speed of service, the waiters seemed disinterested and unfriendly. We were not asked if we would like the wine list or even another drink after being served the first one. Although a couple of the tapas dishes were up to expectation, a couple were not, including the chicken wings which appeared just to have been deep fried with a total lack of any flavour or garnish. The restaurant has been so much better previously so it is a great shame that it appears not to be reaching those standards at present.

A wonderful evening with good friends! Lovely selection of tapas to start with the carpaccio, mussels and calamari singles out for special praise! Followed by pork; swordfish and a burger! All very well cooked, seasoned and presented! Lovely staff who put up with our appalling Spanish! 😁

Our second visit to this lovely, lively restaurant in the old town of Denia. The team are really friendly and attentive. The food is delicious, beautifully cooked and consistently if a great quality. Try both the tiramisu and chocolate cake for a fabulous postre at the end of a tapas feast! You won’t be disappointed!

Lovely, traditional atmosphere restaurant in the old town of Denia. Great service and a menu which on the face of it looks simple. However the quality of the ingredients and the cooking of them was outstanding. We had a selection of tapas and a delicious salad. Dessert was tiramisu which was fabulous!

Great Shrimps in Garlic and Secret Pork. Really tasty! Great service too. Would recommend.

When we are in Denia, we always visit Les Monges for tapas or dinner. The atmosphere and friendly service compliment the delicious food.

It is a small but cozy restaurant. The service was excellent. A wide variety of delicious dishes. We will definitely come again!

We have visited on many previous occasions and scored highly. This visit was disappointing, as they got the order wrong twice; once on the tapas and then on a main fish dish. Plates were cold, so main meals only warm, not hot. Tapas was most enjoyable as always.

A very fine restaurant. I will definitely go again. Highly recommended for the delicious food: Full of flavors and well presented. Also the service was efficient and professional. Thank you to the staff for providing a satisfying dining experience. 5 stars to you.

A great restaurant with lovely staff. Really good value for money. It also has a gray atmosphere. It was busy but everyone was served quickly by the pleasant attentive staff. No hesitation in recommending it.

The food and service both excellent. Atmosphere really made the night and would definitely recommend the seafood Piella. Wine list varied and of a good price, having a lot of Alicant wines. Will go again

When we arrived there was no record of our reservation. Service was slow. Morcilla croquetas were very sloppy. Chicken wings and albóndigas were good. We were not asked how we wanted our steak cook but it was well cooked. Potatoes on the sole dish were cold and undercooked. Overall, disappointing.

We visit this restaurant every time we come to Denia. Have never been disappointed. The Tapas is good. We always choose 3 dishes as a starter. Prawns, Tuna Carpaccio and baby squid to die for! Main courses plentiful and tasty. Would highly recommend
