Single waiter for entire dining area was challenging. Food was average in taste. Was hoping for more flavorful experience given prior experience with Indian flavors throughout Europe.

A Taste of India was very good! I was craving a spicy chicken dish, and it absolutely delivered — full of flavor with just the right amount of heat. My partner ordered the saag paneer and enjoyed it, though it was different than a traditional version. The service was attentive, and the ambience was warm and inviting. Overall, a great dining experience.

This was the first time to eat at Taste of India. We went for lunch on a Saturday. Food and service were both excellent. Between 3 of us, we had vegetable samosas, garlic naan, lamb Madras, lamb biryani, garlic and chili chicken, and we each had a beer. We will definitely be back!

Booked via The Fork. Arrived to only a few tables taken. We were sat very quickly. Staff was very attentive. We placed orders for drinks, appetizers and main dishes. Some chips with sauce was provided complimentary. Appetizers arrived shortly and were very good and still very hot. Main dishes arrive shortly after and were good. Nothing was bad. Mango drink was amazing and appetizers were much better than the main. The main dishes were good but not outstanding.

First night in Madrid and with jet lag. Quiet restaurant which was just fine. Our waiter was very nice and helpful. Food was tasty and in good portions. Would come back.

This restaurant should ideally be called Taste of Bangladesh for tourists rather than Taste of India … A mixed Daal was served in the name of Daal Makhani … One of the waiter was ready to argue on the matter … YouTube can offer them free lessons on how to make authentic Daal Makhani … Only saving grace was a 50% discount … For an Indian food, avoid if you can !!

The food was good however we didn’t receive our starter. Gentleman serving was a bit rude and at the time we arrived there was only one other person in so wasn’t busy.

the food was good and the portions of a decent, although not big size. however, the service was not the best, there was just one person working and it seems that also just one in the kitchen, that means that we order a few things but when wanted to order more naans for example he said we had to wait 30 minutes for it, until they finished making the food for the only other table occupied. same thing when wanted to ask for another dish, we had to wait more than half hour until the other table food was prepared.

Booked at 11pm .very slow to take my order .. by 11.40 pm they presented the bill while I was still eating(I ordered 4/5 dishes) !! At least allow me one hour or don’t take 11 pm booking .. it’s that simple

The restaurant is very nice, and the staff polite offering a good service. Food is ok, not exceptional and the portions are quite big. The quality to price is very acceptable ( including the Fork offer).

Remarkable Indian cuisine surprise in Madrid city centre 1/2 block north of Plaza Santa Ana. Outstanding and uniquely memorable food quality: fresh, locally sourced and extremely generous portions of authentic Indian plates. 9 out of 10: only service quality and interior design were 9 of 10 points.

We ordered spicy dishes and they do not disappoint. We recommend you to order curries chicken with bones rather than in cubes or boneless. You will appreciate better the authenticity and the best from the dishes.

The poor service at this restaurant is well documented on TripAdvisor, and frankly it spoiled the evening for us. The food is average to above average, but the service is unprofessional and completely lacking any cheerfulness or basic hospitality. When every restaurant in the vicinity is packed, and this one almost empty despite its very privileged location, then you should know that something is amiss.

Very good quality, good service and relatively quite atmosphere in the heart of Madrid - about 300-400 m from Puerta del Sol so quite easy to get to. Evening went without a hitch - a biz dinner.

I love Taste of India! The food is always amazing - the butter chicken is SO delicious. The waiters are always very welcoming. Definitely coming back - again :)
