Very pleasant restaurant, nice decor. Staff were very attentive and bought us some free little starters (including a veggie one when the waiter realised one of us was vegetarian). Really tasty food - different vegetarian options compared to some restaurants. Good value. Will go again.

Great food and Negroni was on point. Off the beaten track a little at the end of the Carvoeiro track is a great place to eat. The food is really well cooked, presented and is real value for money. Its only fault is cause of these great assets it can get busy but we were warned on arrival it might be slightly slower service than normal. Given its outside seating is next to the road it is still pretty quiet and as I say the food more than makes up for it. We had fresh fish dishes of tuna and sea bass both of which tasted great and were well cooked. Get yourself up there for a lovely meal away from the hustle and bustle you won’t be disappointed

The table was not ready when we arrived, and we had to wait 15 minutes. We were, however, offered a table indoors, which we declined. Throughout the service, the staff were courteous and professional, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The food was well presented and served in reasonable portions. Starters are, however, overpriced for what they offer.

The reservation hadn’t registered / received by the restaurant so while we were offered a table after 5mins we were told service would take upto an hour.

The staff were fantastic! So friendly and made a special effort for my husbands birthday. The food was amazing too. We’ve been twice before on holiday and rate this the best restaurant in Carvoeiro!

Having discovered Taste two years ago, the restaurant has become a firm favourite of ours. Steak night in particular is a favourite of our teenage boys! Great service and nothing is too much trouble. We'll return again next year!

We had a very nice welcome and the service was very good. The seating on the outside terrace was very nice. The food was also very good, except for the Nachos I had as a starter, as the cheese they used was no real cheese, which I did not expect in such a good restaurant.

The risotto was terrible! No flavour and wrong rice used! Ceaser salad with chicken was not as expected either! Not a lot of chicken and no ceasar flavour ! Wrong salad leaves used as well! However staff and music were good!

Tried Taste after seeing it recommended on various sites for tapas. The main dishes that came out looked excellent and well presented however our tapas was not the best. Small portions compared to other places we’d been and although we’d asked for assistance ordering I think we ordered wrong and left still hungry. Combine that with having to wait over an hour for food and 1 very rude portuguese waiter it was quite disappointing. It seems they cook the tables in order, so your wait will depend on how many tables there are in front of you and what they’ve ordered. Service seemed disorganised. I’d try it again if i knew service would be quicker and the waiter wasn’t there as the rest of the staff were great and the main dishes looked good.

The restaurant is a delightful find. The service warm, friendly and professional throughout. Food well cooked and presented and more importantly delicious. Good value. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone staying in Carvoeiro and i will go again.

The food was excellent. Excellent quality, ingredients and flavours. Fast service and very eager attentive staff. I would have preferred a slightly long gap between courses to give us time to enjoy the meal. The staff have obviously been trained to be fast and efficient but unfortunately subtleties of dining are lost. I has the tuna as a mains which was fresh, cooked to my liking and very tasty. My wife had the grilled octopus but felt that the mash potato was a mismatch of combinations. Overall we would definitely dine here again. Just some fine tuning to be done.
