9/10We had a burrata as entry, and then a carbonara and a caccio e pepe, both very good. Service was great, and the ambient was lovely right at the center of trastevere.

10/10Brilliant place to visit whilst in Rome. We brought our two teenage sons & they said it was the best pizza they’ve ever had which is high praise from them. Waiters were fab, definitely recommend.

10/10Great food and menu, we had a difficult time trying to choose what we wanted to eat. We had a starter, carbonara pasta & codfish in a delicious sauce. For dessert we had the tiramisu and it was amazing. The waiters were so friendly, funny and helpful and made our experience all the more better. Can highly recommend.

9/10This was our last night in Rome. My husband said that his carbonara was probably the best that he had. I had the spaghetti and clams and it was very good. My daughter and enjoyed the Cacio E Pepe and my son thought the note was very good. It would’ve been great to have had some fans outside, because it was a very warm night, and I can imagine that a lot of nights in the summer are also very warm. It was a very good meal and we enjoyed it.

10/10Went here on a good tour initially and the food we got was so good we had to go back. We had to dine a bit earlier as it was fully booked later in evening for a few days but it wasn’t a problem m. The food and service is fantastic very good Italian cooking and couldn’t fault anything. Lovely wine and enjoyed our experience here. Booked through the fork app and got 20% off so value for money was outstanding. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

10/10We were a group of 9 and they accommodated us for a reservation. Everyone loved their food. The best we have had so far in Rome. Our waiter was on top of everything and friendly. Overall a great experience!

4.5/10We were there because of the goord results in tripadvisor. But it was very disapointing. To start with the good thing, the wine which was recommeded was very good. And the atmosphere in the restaurant also. But the pizza and the spaghetti were very poor. The pizza was first not hot and then reheated in the microwave which made the pizza dough soft and inedible. And the spaghetti alio olio e peperoncino tasted awfull. No recommondation from our part at all.

10/10I recently had lunch with my family at Taverna 51 in Trastevere and it was a great experience. The kid’s pasta was good and everyone found something on the menu to eat. The menu had a variety of options, not just typical Italian dishes but also salads and vegan polpetini that looked like falafel, which were very good. I also enjoyed the 20% discount from The Fork. Overall, it was really worth it - good food and service. Highly recommend!

10/10Most enjoyable evening of our stay in Rome. Nice ambience, excellent service and great food - not to mention very reasonable prices. Really glad we chose to eat at Taverna 51!

6/10Great pizza, but the other dishes were disapointing and seemed prefabricated. We got at table between the entrance and the bar, which was not optimal. The neighbouring room is more quiet and cosy.

5/10Antipasti with anchovies (buffalo-zucchini flowers- anchovies and scamorza) were good but the main courses we had (tonnarelli mussels & pecorino and the beef) was very bad (both were cold and tasteless).. House red wine was moderate. We are not willing to go there again.
