10/10Eccellente! Brava! Thank you much for being so accommodating, even when we arrived late to our reservations due the strike and protests. The meal was fantastico. My dinner party enjoyed the veal in sage butter sauce; Variety of supplì, and the funghi pizza and the margarita pizza (Napoline style). Tutti Perfetto! Service was like being served by famiglia! Loved the ambiance.

The Carbonara and Amatriciana pasta were amazing, combined with the vio della casa rosso. For desert, the tiramisu was excellent, the cream was very sweet and it came with biscuits

Had 4 in our party. Stopped here due to high ratings- disappointed. The steaks were no better/ lack of taste and carbonara was chewy.

9/10The service was great, never waited long and always had quick response. The food was perfect, met and exceeded expectation. Ordered Gnocchi Bolognese, Carbonara, and Salad. The salad was a bit over dressed but delicious. The tiramisu was a bit of a miss, but still delicious. Wine list was perfect. The atmosphere was great too, wish it was a bit more of an elevated experience, but that’s not truly what one is paying for here. I would recommend it and I would go again.

7/10The service was slow and it was like we were forgotten. They forgot our drinks (beer, spirits) as well. The food was good, not great. Much better places in trastevere.

8.5/10Good pizza. We were told not to get pizza so close to the Vatican, so this is where we ended up. For the cost and quality, this was well worth it. At the same time, I did not see much difference from some pizzas I have eaten in the U.S. Ultimately, I’m glad we landed here instead of eating microwave pizza at a tourist trap.

Very casual vibe, great wine, great food - I had the pasta with garlic and oil and hot peppers - the simplest dish but the most amazing thing I have ever eaten. Also very reasonably priced.

10/10We enjoyed a really tasty lunch here. We ate fried cod and artichokes for starters and then had gnocchi with mussels. It was all top quality food and reasonably priced. Friendly staff too. I would return.

10/10Food was delicious. Waiters were very helpful with recommendations and didn’t push our large group to over order. Vino del casa red and white wine made it a bit of a bargain night out.

10/10Taverna 51 is a great place to have dinner if what you’re looking for is an italian restaurant. In the Trastevere zone it has great food with delicious pizzas and a great lasagna which is what I had. The barmaid that took care of the dinner was polite and respectful throughout the whole meal. I really recommend this place for a good meal
