4.5/10We were there because of the goord results in tripadvisor. But it was very disapointing. To start with the good thing, the wine which was recommeded was very good. And the atmosphere in the restaurant also. But the pizza and the spaghetti were very poor. The pizza was first not hot and then reheated in the microwave which made the pizza dough soft and inedible. And the spaghetti alio olio e peperoncino tasted awfull. No recommondation from our part at all.

10/10Cosy restaurant. Excellent price quality. I had a negroni with Prosecco. Pizza has thin layer and the carbonara was very tasteful. Welcoming and quick service. 👌🏼

10/10I recently had lunch with my family at Taverna 51 in Trastevere and it was a great experience. The kid’s pasta was good and everyone found something on the menu to eat. The menu had a variety of options, not just typical Italian dishes but also salads and vegan polpetini that looked like falafel, which were very good. I also enjoyed the 20% discount from The Fork. Overall, it was really worth it - good food and service. Highly recommend!

5.5/10We went twice. First time it was really good, second time the waiting was very slow, and we waited more than one hour for the main course. Very friendsly service though and the food is fine

10/10Most enjoyable evening of our stay in Rome. Nice ambience, excellent service and great food - not to mention very reasonable prices. Really glad we chose to eat at Taverna 51!

6/10Great pizza, but the other dishes were disapointing and seemed prefabricated. We got at table between the entrance and the bar, which was not optimal. The neighbouring room is more quiet and cosy.

5/10Antipasti with anchovies (buffalo-zucchini flowers- anchovies and scamorza) were good but the main courses we had (tonnarelli mussels & pecorino and the beef) was very bad (both were cold and tasteless).. House red wine was moderate. We are not willing to go there again.

9/10Except the tuna and onion pizza (a bit bland), everything was superb! I’d recommend mozzarella in carrozza, cartoccio, scamorza affumicata and gnocchi gorgonzola, radicchio and walnuts. Excellent service and atmosphere at a reasonable price!

6/10A good restaurant in the heart of Trastevere, offering traditional roman food. Good for a quick lunch, the service was a little bit slow and they forgot one of the order. In spite of this if you are in the area, I will recommend it.

10/10This restaurant is the best one in Trastevere. If you want to eat as a local, you definitely have to try it. You can find traditional 1st courses and pizza. Wine is cheap and tasteful. If you want to eat tastefully in a cheaper way, this is your place!
