10/10When we arrived for lunch we were the only people there and we had the most peaceful setting out on the patio! The service was incredible and they provided recommendations which proved to be amazing. One of the best meals we had in Italy with the ambience and food both being a 10/10. Our waiter was a delight and we loved talking to him! As we were wrapping up with dessert the place started to fill up.

10/10Amazing little restaurants off the side streets in the heart of Amalfi. Very nice decor and welcoming and our waiter gave us an excellent wine reccomendation. The food was delicious as well. One of our best dining experiences in Italy

9/10We had a great Monday evening here! Walked straight in even after being late from missing the bus and had a wonderful meal. we enjoyed the fried mini pizza trio, my wife loved the ravioli, and i thought the lobster linguine special was perfect from presentation to taste. this is our first night in Italy so i’m not sure if this is standard yet, but neither the water nor the bread were complimentary (totally fine, but probably would’ve skipped a refill!). my only tiny slight was the speed of service but it was nice to be forced to slow down anyways. small but not crowded, quaint but elegant, this place was a great way to begin our trek through Amalfi Coast!

10/10Our waiter was wonderful. I'm sorry but I don't recall his name, he spoke multiple languages to various guests and was very knowledgeable and helpful with menu questions.

8.5/10We had come straight from a day out therefore were not fully dressed up for dinner. The server obviously treated us differently than the others because of this at the restaurant but we were still polite. Minus the rude server, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the food.

6.5/10Guy in charge too stressed, he needs to not try to accommodate so many walk ins and concentrate on giving better service to those who booked and are sitting down. He needs more competent help. Location is great and food very nice apart from one dish where the "light" sauce was water. Such a shame as it could be a great place.

6/10Guy in charge too overwhelmed with work, service very slow. Seemed like they tried to accommodate more people rather than serve the people they already had correctly. A real shame as we ate here a few nights ago and it was great. Lovely setting but they need more competent staff.

10/10Fabulous dinner! From the start the service was excellent! Hostess, waitress, wine steward, server were all excellent. Our meal was delicious. Eggplant and octopus were wonderful. Both past dishes were cooked perfectly as was fish. Tempted to go back tomorrow!!

10/10We had a great meal at Taverna Buonvicino - the food is fresh and inventive. The service was superb and it was nice to be away from the madding crowd for some peace and calm. The day following our meal, we ran into our server, who greeted us like old friends and chatted for a bit, offering some insights about local attractions. Really would highly recommend.

3.5/10First time in Italy that I experienced what I can unfortunately only interpret as anti-Semitism. I wear a Jewish star on my neck with the Hebrew word for life inscribed inside of it. I wear it all the time and never remove it. It was hidden in my shirt, then slipped out unintentionally. At that point the team working there saw it, then immediately did a total 180 on their attitudes and behavior towards my wife and I. We were ignored for a while when trying to check in for our reservation that we made 3 months ago as they spoke to and sat everyone else that arrived after us. Once we were seated the pattern continued ignoring us and addressing literally every other table near us. Finally and seemed like almost to their dismay we were addressed and able to order. When food arrived at other tables, we saw every other table able to finish every last bite eagerly of their meals but ours came out with what looked and tasted like a pound of salt dumped on top of each of our entrees like it was the intent to ruin our food and encourage us to hurry up and leave. So I suppose if you are Jewish and wear any symbols of it, don’t eat here. They clearly think less of us and don’t want our business. I will never return and I will tell every person that will ask to never eat here. A very disappointing evening during an otherwise spectacular honeymoon enjoying Italy.

Tantomeno ci soffermiamo a guardare cosa indossano i nostri clienti per poi giudicarli. Noi al ristorante lavoriamo e anche sodo, come ha potuto notare. Non abbiamo il tempo per simili fantasie, la nostra vocazione è soddisfare i nostri clienti . E', ribadiamo, il nostro lavoro dipende soprattutto dall'accogliere chiunque voglia apprezzare la nostra cucina e la nostra ospitalità. Ci dispiace che lei si sia sentito discriminato e le consigliamo di vivere le sue vacanze sentendosi cittadino del mondo...Amalfi vive diversità di religione, colore e razza da millenni e non sarà una recensione mendace a cambiare il nostro modus operandi

10/10Great little restaurant tucked away from the main thoroughfare. Previous positive reviews were what sold us on going here. Service was exceptional - Salvatore was very attentive and made some great recommendations (including the 2nd bottle of wine that we thoroughly enjoyed). Ambiance was perfect for a quaint little Italian restaurant and the food for the most part was exceptional. Unfortunately the pork dish was slightly over cooked and the meat quite dry but the other dishes were very good. Would go back here again.

10/10Charming little restaurant with extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. I had the codfish, my husband has octopus and both my children had entrecôte, all the dishes were delicious. We had a delightful evening, I was so glad we found it. Highly recommend.

7.5/10Average food. Didn’t think the quality matched the price charged. Three small pieces of breaded cod as an appetizer for 20€. The seafood pasta was mostly mussels with two small prawns and tough cuttlefish.

5/10Get the mussels, highlight of the meal. Pasta was pretty bad, and service was horrible. We watched another table sit 20 minutes after us and receive their wine and meals before we received a wine list or bread. Maybe other servers are better so potentially service is better than what we experienced
