8/10We have been a few times - a nice location with v good views - food always good with many locals using the place. Some of the staff are a bit stoney faced and the bill takes a very long tome to come - also no discount applied and a reluctance to produce an itemised bill.

3.5/10We visited the taverna on August 12 and had very high expectations. It is wonderfully located and offers a great view with San Gimignano in the background. However, most of the meals as well as the service were subpar. I will skip the minor incidents and will only say that the bistecca Fiorentina was clearly off: it had a distinct smell that no edible meat should have. We've had more than a few dozen of fiorentinas all over Toscana, so I think we know how a real bistecca fiorentina should smell. Also, the service must be instructed that when a guest spill a peach juice on the table, the whole table cloth must be changed, not just wiped. Overall, not up to high Tuscan standards.

5.5/10was it the end of a difficult season, or did the guys have a bad evening? the attention for the guests was lacking throughout the evening. we ordered one primo and two secundi, and got the primo together with one secundi. In respond to our question why a main course was already served, the waiter reacted grumpy. The ordered espressos were also missing with the dessert, and it took them a long time to detach themselves from their conversations in the kitchen. Nice location with a view over the hills of san gimignano, plates were well prepared by the chef, yet a disappointing experience.

8.5/10We were a large group.of 16 for lunch, and half of the group was delayed arriving. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, even though kitchen was closing. Setting was lovely, great views.

9.5/10Very friendly staff who took the time to help you with your choice. The food was very tasty at acceptable prices. I loved the tiramisu with the fresh espresso. You have an amazing view on the San Gimignano skyline from the terrasse. I would definitely recommend this place.

10/10Wonderfull stop between Siena and San Gimigniano. Quiet restaurant with view to San Gimigniano towers where you may try very good gnochi and delicious pasta!
