7.5/10I made a reservation through The Fork for 3:30pm. We arrived few minutes earlier and the waiter said we should order asap as the kitchen would close in 5min. Isn’t it better to allow reservations until 3pm, instead of pushing clients to order asap? We ordered well done beef ribs, but it was rare.

4/10We have been in this place the other day. We made a reservation at 10:00 pm since there was availability at that time. As soon as we got into the restaurant the waitress told us that the kitchen was closed (since they close it at 10:00pm and we had the possibility just to order pizza's or 2/3 dishes. We were very surprise/upset since we had the possibility to reserve our table at that time. After we ordered what we wanted , the waitress told us that everything was ready for us. So we were happy about it. The bad thing was that they feed us very fast and we had appetizers and main courses all together because they were in a rush to close the place. As soon as we finished our appetizer everything was cold and we were very disappointed. Unfortunately it was not a good experience

8.5/10Great food, lovely ambiance. The head waitress was extremely polite and hospitable. We had an issue with the moustached young male waiter who was quite rude to one of our guests. Otherwise it was a wonderful experience

8/10It seems quite a touristic place at the beginning, but it's frequented by a lot of local people. Super fast service, good quality meat, not very interesting recipes. Wonderful live music.

4/10It was one disaster after another. We were shown to our table and we ordered a drink. We were then ignored by the staff as people arrived for a private party in another room. We finally ordered and the starter arrived quite quickly. The main course arrived before we had finished eating and the starter plate was whisked away without asking if we had finished. One of the main courses was not the one we had ordered and so this was taken away. The second attempt turned up a while later. We then attracted the waitress’s attention as we wanted some olive oil. She waved at us and carried on looking at the computer with her colleague. Finally we asked another waiter who brought balsamic vinegar instead. We asked for the bill. They had charged us for a very expensive starter which we had not ordered. The waiter admitted his mistake and reissued the bill. Just as he was about to take payment, the waitress jumped in and took the card machine out of his hand, as she said she needed it for another table, laughing as she did. Even the waiter looked surprised. The food was actually okay but the staff ruined the evening. There was no customer service at all. It was as if they didn’t want us there.

8.5/10Great atmosphere with authentic portuguese dishes and dessert. Our favourite dish was the peri peri chicken which was recommended by the welcoming waiter, cooked with charcoal.

5.5/10The staff could have been better, hadn’t the maitre been present - you had to fight for his attention despite the restaurant not being full, and he got our ordination wrong, and his advice on the size of the portion was completely messed up. We are in two hours more or less, and half of the tables present were EMPTY. The food was so-and-so - the duck rice was fine, but the grilled meat was poor in quality and quantity.

4/10Our waiter was appalling. He was rude, inattentive and couldn't tell us anything about the two wines we were considering. Our food was cold and had to be sent back to be reheated. The owner or chef who brought it back out was very apologetic but no discount or compensation was offered. Extremely disappointing and not good value for money.
