good food, terrible service

Food was extremely slow to arrive. When it did, everyone in our group was underwhelmed by the food—a pistachio risotto with no trace of pistachio, a wild boar gnocchi that had a couple flecks of meat on what was very obviously cheap purchased gnocchi, a porcini pasta again with purchased noodles and almost no porcini sitting in a puddle of oil. Would not recommend, and the prices they charge for such food is extremely unreasonable.

Had a wonderful and delicious meal tonight. Everything we had was just amazing. From the soup of the day to both our meals, the lasagna and the carbonara. The service could not have been better. All were very attentive and very kind. Reasonably priced as well. If we visit Assisi again, we will definitely return. Highly recommend.
