9/10Had a nice meal here on our first night, very tired after a night and day of travelling. Relaxed atmosphere with nice outdoor tables in the shade and overlooking the bay. Friendly, welcoming staff. Convenient location for Hotel Ascot.

4.5/10The house red wine was undrinkable (lesson learnt) ate by a busy road, pizza felt undercooked, although pasta and starter we couldn’t fault. Service was average.

Dear Emma Thank you for your feedback — we’re truly sorry your experience didn’t meet expectations. Had you mentioned the wine issue at the time, we would’ve been happy to replace it immediately (as we did for another table shortly after). Being a natural local wine without preservatives, it can sometimes suffer from high temperatures. Regarding the table, we did see your note and offered a switch so both seats would have a sea view. You confirmed the spot was fine, but if it turned out to be too noisy, we’d have gladly moved you — a quick word would have been enough. As for the The Fork discount, we’ve checked the reservation on the platform, and it appears there was no active promotion linked to your booking. It’s possible there was a misunderstanding while browsing the app, where discounts are sometimes shown for different time slots or menus than the one booked. 3.5/10Food was not very good whatsoever. Complete tourist trap. And then on top of that the server added an extra 5€ on the machine when we went to pay card and then tried to play it off as an accident and kept saying “I keep I keep”. Absolutely not when we already tipped.

10/10The service was excellent. The waiters were very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We ordered carbonara, gnocchi, and the special, a filet mignon with vegetables and potatoes as well as the fiori di zucca. It was all so good!

2.5/10This place is a textbook tourist trap. I have no idea what justifies the glowing reviews. The food is mediocre at best – poorly executed, industrial in quality, and lacking any real flavor or care. The cocktails overly sweet and borderline undrinkable. Ingredients feel mass-produced and generic. The only upside? It’s cheap. But I’d rather pay a bit more for food that doesn’t taste like it came out of a factory. Not recommended.

Perhaps that should make you reflect: if the vast majority of our guests leave satisfied and only you did not, could it be that your personal taste simply differs from what most people enjoy? You’re entitled not to like our offering — and we respect that — but that doesn’t justify such harsh and sweeping criticism. We’d like to provide some context: last Saturday night, we had an exceptionally high number of guests, including many local customers who frequently choose our venue to spend their evening. This made the atmosphere livelier than usual. Regarding our staff, each team member has a specific role—some take orders, others bring dishes from the kitchen, and others serve at the tables. This might have given the impression that some were not actively clearing tables, but in reality, everyone was carrying out their assigned duties. We still hope that you enjoyed your meal and that we’ll have the chance to change your mind about our service and atmosphere. Just a great little restaurant to eat in sorrento. very reasonably priced especially for the area. service was amazing, sat us half an hour before our reservation and was overall very friendly!

6/10We were extremely looking forward to dining here given all the positive reviews. Unfortunately, our meal missed the mark. We ordered drinks and food, but unfortunately our drinks did not come out until after our food arrived and having to ask for our drinks. The biggest miss was the pizza— the crust lacked consistency and air, the sauce and cheese missing depth of flavor. Truthfully, the worst pizza we’ve had out of the 20+ we’ve ordered during our travels throughout Italy. However, the carbonara pasta was fantastic and saved the meal.

10/10Our meal was delicious. Very fresh and seafood was awesome. The staff was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. When we were done with our dinner they served lemonchello and then the owner poured a second and sat with us for a few minutes. Very personal service.

10/10We came here for my birthday whilst visiting Sorrento and the staff were really welcoming. The lasagne was delicious, as was the limoncello spritz. Finished with the staff singing happy birthday to me and even gave me a complimentary dessert. We’ll be back!
