6.5/10The service was ok but slow, we waited 15 mins before they came to greet us and take our drink order. The portions were surprisingly small and the quality was average. Did not meet our expectations this time.

We always make a point of visiting this excellent restaurant . We love to sit outside looking at the wonderful view . The food is extremely good and the service friendly and attentive . We will definitely return again.

7.5/10Left waiting outside in cold weather for 10 minutes although we had a specific reservation… restaurant was late opening. Fried zucchini flowers were excellent. Pasta with meat sauce was OK but nothing special. Pistachio cake was very tasty.

7.5/10Lovely restaurant and service but the food was a little disappointing. My cousin and aunt ordered the carbonara and found the pasta quite thick and extremely salty. I had the ragu and the pasta was in short again very thick strips which were too al denté, I couldn’t eat sadly. All in all it was very nice evening but just a shame the mains were underwhelming.

10/10The food is exceptionally good, and the service is very friendly. The waiter advised an excellent wine to accompany the food, and the price was quite reasonable. Next to this, the place is in the center of the small town, with list of small restaurants and shops nearby, making it an unforgettable experience.

10/10Excellent restaurant with an extension menu and wine list showcasing all the fresh ingredients and beverages that Chianti has to offer. Our table (in the back patio) overlooks the beautiful Tuscan countryside, with a view of the sunset. The service was impeccable and unobstrusive. Who could ask for anything more?

10/10We had a table on the terrace with a beautiful view of the vineyards. It was a perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal with a 1/2 liter of Chianti Classico. Relaxing, good food, great wine…what more could you ask for? I recommend the pecorino flan, fried zucchini flowers & beef cheeks braised in wine. Perfecto.

10/10We ate here our last night in Castellina in Chianti, and it was the perfect way to end our time in the Tuscan countryside. The food was excellent, the view from our table was a dream, and the service was impeccable. We will definitely be back someday! (Hopefully soon!)

10/10The food was good. High quality ingredients....interesting breads....had a nice organic rose. The starter salad was one of the best salads I've had....a perfect execution. Great view to enjoy. We had a relaxed lunch with a few drinks and a couple of courses plus one coffee for 75 euros. This seems a very fair price v quality.

A great local gem in Castellini. Beautiful views out towards the vineyard and everything served appeared to be grown and made on site. Fresh and delicious with an excellent wine selection.

8/10We had lunch with friends. The view was awesome and the service was good. The food was also good but relatively expensive compared to other restaurants. But a good option if you're traveling through the Chianti area!
