Really good food. Nice people and staff and a perfect ambiance! ❤️

The food was cold and uninspiring. There was no jus or sauce or enhancements to meat, lamb just not great and Black Angus, well - it just wasn't at all. Seasonal vegetables was 1 type, overcooked, cool and no seasoning. Really disappointed!

Dinner was another hit. It was delicious, and you could come here every day and eat your way through the entire menu. And then start all over again. 😂 Next time I'm in Rome, I'll definitely eat here again.

Cacio e pepe prepared table side in a cheese wheel, delicious (and generous) pours of house red wine, and the most delicious tiramisu! We were pleasantly surprised by a social media influencer who visited that night and ended up paying for everyone’s meal! Such a special night — great service and a delicious meal!

Extreme waiting times. It took half an hour just to order. Food was average, nothing special. Got my The Fork-discount without trouble, when asked for it.

Ate here on first night in Rome. Managed to get a seat outside which was excellent as it was hot night. Good selection of local food available. Service was great from young serving staff and whilst the food we ordered was tasty, it could have been warmer.

We chanced upon Taverna Urbana when we were researching restaurants in the Monti area. What a gem of a find. Firstly, the service was great. Friendly and chummy. Doni provided great guidance on the menu...and lots of laughs & banter. We ordered sautéed Clams & Mussels, Fried Zucchini Flowers, Oxtail Pasta & finished off with a Grilled Sea Bass. This was accompanied by a wonderful bottle of Brunello. The food was simply delicious. For us who love food with some spice, the fact that there was fresh chilli that we could ask for was great. Will definitely return

This place is amazing! the food was excellent, ambience was beautiful, service was top notch. best prices on food and drinks and best service we have experienced in the 3 weeks of traveling Italy. my husband spilled his drink and they came over immediately and made him a new one. My son asked if he could buy a beer glass and they gave it to him for free. i am dumbfounded how this place isnt rated higher on the Fork. We have been eating at top rated restaurants and this one has been the best.

Giuseppe, our server, was nothing short of amazing—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the menu. We enjoyed a fantastic lunch, and let me tell you, the carbonara was to die for! It was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. We also tried the coda di mono allavaccinara, which was an absolute delight—full of flavor and expertly prepared. Overall, a wonderful culinary experience! I highly recommend Ristorante Taverna Urbana for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine with exceptional service. We can't wait to return!
