Great prices on a niche style Israeli/ middle eastern restaurant with authentic flavors and drinks. Small unique menu boats elevated styles of the foods I loved while living in Israel. Make a reservation there are not many tables and they can not always sit you if you do not have one.

Fantastic food in a very friendly athmosphere. Meals are delicious and plenty. Tables are tiny., open ktchen as well. But it is all very well handled. Loved it!

We needed a break from eating snails and absolutely loved the food here. Friendly staff. Definitely try the sampler appetizer and the grilled pineapple for dessert.

Very few choices, but the chicken and beetroot salad that we eat was really delicious. Service was OK and our person who served our table is very sweet. Place looked a little cramped up and noisy. Bit pricey too for the quantity!

The food was truly excellent. 10 out of 10 points and I am not easily satisfied! We loved it and thought the same the following day too. We had a starter to share for 2 (highly recommended, Now I know how I best like my cauliflower! And humus, sweet potatoes, and salad were wonderful as well. The fresh bread ?pita? was great.) The main was very nice as well with great spices. We also liked the dessert, a chocolate cake. The wine by the glass was very drinkable, so I had a second cabernet sauvignon. All in all a great meal, really. The location is typically Parisian - small - and eating on the bistro tables and chairs/bench is not very comfortable. Because of the mini tables, the plates are mini too. Managing several glasses and dishes becomes a bit tricky. I did not like this. Hence the reduction of points in my rating. The service was quick, we left after one hour. I would not necessarily have liked to stay much longer in the packed place. The place is not big and was booked out of course so make your reservations ahead of time. The waiters were attentive and very friendly. The waitress was thrifty with her smiles but a tip at the end did the trick ;-). Highly recommended for an excellent dinner with friends after work.

We went for lunch in late July when most of the city including restaurants are about to go on holiday. We booked a table but the restaurant was largely empty when we went. The service was not terrible, but also not great. The waiter seemed bored and spent a good amount of time chatting with another guest before eventually coming around to us. That said, the food was really good and flavorful. Perhaps on another visit we might hit five stars for food and service both.

I know the place for quite some time and today’s lunch was a bit disappointing. The food was ok but from my recollection I was expecting some more flavored. Today was a pretty hot day and there’s no A/C. Just not possible. Service was friendly but not prompt. I experience overall.

This was a delightful “find” in the Marais. From beginning to end each dish was prepared with so many flavors. Vegetables were transformed into magical plates. It’s a wonderful restaurant.

It was our first night back in the restaurant after the lockdown and wow! The food and service at Tavline was just extraordinary. We had the selection of entrees, all delectable, the fish balls and the beef for mains, both sumptuous and the cherries and chocolate cake for dessert. Accompanied by some excellent Israeli wine and a super friendly waitress it was a perfect dinner and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!!

We have now eaten here twice and both times the food has been excellent. We were there with a vegan friend and the menu works for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters. There is only one criticism for the management. Is it possible to extend your carte des vins ? For white wine there were just 2 choices, both at Eu 40. Surely it is possible to increase this list and add some cheaper options ?
