2/10Last night, we dined at this restaurant with five other friends. The experience was terrible, both in terms of the food and the service, as well as the unprofessional and unacceptable welcome from the restaurant staff. Throughout dinner, a series of extremely serious incidents occurred, which should never happen within a restaurant. Firstly, the restaurant floor was extremely slippery, posing a serious risk to the safety of patrons and staff alike. At one point, a visibly unwell customer at another table attempted to leave the restaurant multiple times but was unable to do so due to their condition and the slippery floor. Shockingly, none of the restaurant staff step in, and the individual was deliberately ignored for over an hour. When we explicitly asked the staff to open another door (I hope that it was not the emergency exit one) to allow the customer to leave, it was discovered that the door was blocked and impossible to open. Furthermore, the service was inattentive and clumsy. After initially taking our orders and serving our meals, the waitstaff never returned to our table throughout the entire dinner to inquire if we wanted additional courses, more water, or if we had any other needs. Additionally, the waiting times were excessively long. We brought these and other issues to the attention of the owner, who rudely dismissed us from the premises and ordered us not to return, even summoning his staff to enforce his directive. Needless to say, the value for money was completely inadequate, even considering the 50% discount from The Fork (which, incidentally, was only granted upon my explicit request to the staff; initially, the bill was printed without the discount, and if I hadn't pointed it out, we would have paid full price). This experience is one to forget, and I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant.

8/10The steaks and sides were excellent, cooked to perfection, but we were seated next to a busy staircase, and the waitress, obviously new to the job, was nervous and didn't know when to serve or clear a dish.

9.5/10We started with the tomato salad, it was very good. Main course was Scottish filet and Argentina Filet, both medium rare. They were excellent and the service was very good. I would highly recommend TDQ.

3/10Horrible experience, place looks like a fast food diner, service was catastrophic even spilled a 170€ bottle of wine over our cloths without any offering of compensation. Food was totally overpriced and not even good. Total bill was close to 500€ worth maybe 250-300€ with wine and good service included. Stay away ripp off place.

4/10Very disappointing experience. The steaks were served rare when ordered medium , the service was the worse ever . She was nowhere to be found , we had to get up to get service and she still did not come to our table. Would not recommend.!!

4.5/10The food was good, but the service was not good at all, expecially from one women. The baked potato was finished, so one of us didnt get any. There was so much noise, that it was difficault to talk. We where 8 guests together. The meat was getting cold when we got the side dishes. Sorry but we didn´t experience a good night at your restaurand.

5.5/10I have been to this restaurant a few times. It was a birthday dinner for my wife, we ordered Kobe steak. If you order steak for EUR 180,-, you expect to get side dishes at the same time, not to wait another 3-4 minutes. They should organize it better specially for this kind of order.

10/10I booked only one day in advance online and asked as a special request for the restaurant to do something for my fathers birthday and they did just that. I can only say thanks again for your kindness and amazing hospitality, the birthday cake dessert was fabulous and presented with elegance. The starter and mains both amazing best steak we have EVER had. Such a pleasant memorable experience. Well done to all the staff your great at running your restaurant.

7.5/10The food is still good and the steaks are still perfect but the vibe is gone (vs the one they had a few years ago) and the french snails are not on the menu anymore. Waiters in t-shirts, fast service, lots of tourists. More fast food than a restaurant. But the perfect steaks are still there, and that is what matters!

10/10Best selection of steaks cooked to perfection everything from the lobster bisque to start and the creme brûlée to finish was amazing. I got the Canadian and Scottish beef filets and also the bison filet all cooked to perfection (medium) The service was the best part though as a young adult it’s hard to get proper service at nice resto when dining alone but my waitress carefully took her time with me to explain all of their menu options in detail and guided me by making some wonderful recommendations. I will definitely come back next time I visit Amsterdam!
