We had an absolutely beautiful meal. We started with a mezze selection, which was so tasty, and included salads, dips, breads, olives, hot savoury pastries, cheeses and more! For main courses we had lamb and chicken, with vegetables, potatoes, rice and salads. Again, our meals were faultless, so tasty. I finished off with a traditional semolina cake and fruit with beautiful coffees. We chose Turkish red wine with our meal, which again was perfect. Thanks so much to the friendly and very hospitable staff for what was our favourite meal in Groningen.

The service was good. The food was alright. The portions were too small though.

It was good experience. Topalak, sish and musakka was very delicious. We would like to go again and eat some different tastes.

We really enjoyed our meal at Tekinev. We shared a few starters (chicken and vegetable borek was the best!) and main dishes. The lamb kabobs were also delicious. The server was new, but very efficient and friendly. It was a lovely evening. Thanks!

After a long time , I was back in my college town and We were trying to find a nice unique restaurant for Christmas Eve. This authentic Turkish restaurant was a perfect match. Delicious authentic food (red lentil soup, mix grill, mezze). And most notably the super friendly owner . Absolute recommended!

Wonderful food and service. This was our second time visiting, but there are many more to come. On a drizzling evening with a slight chill on the air the Lamb Stew is a great option.

First time to visit a Turkish restaurant with such authenticity, the food was extremely good with specific tastes that hits all the tasting buds spectrum. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is very nice and cozy. the service was very friendly and the owner came himself to ask us if everything was alright and to our satisfaction. highly recommended

Excellent food. Chicken skewers are excellent: juicy and perfectly grilled. The Buyurdu was incredibly unctuous and rich - wonderfully flavoured. The mezze were likewise refined in flavour and varied. Interior is pleasant and clean. Service was congenial.
