5.5/10We had to ask again for the second bottle of wine we ordered (it took 10 minutes for them to tell us the first bottle we ordered was sold out), the replacement selection arrived when we were finished with the apps. My wife's meal arrived over 5 minutes after my meal was served. The wait people constantly asked who ordered what plate. The food was very good except for my main course. My main course 'seemed to have been prepared by a 12 year old.' They ruined a $65 San Pietro whole fish. The general sense we both got was they were just after tourists' money. Sorry for the bad review, but one of my worst dining experiences. Plus, I had intestinal problems that night and much of the next day. Ruined a good portion of a day for me.

6.5/10Very good service. We felt that the food was rather overpriced in particular the lobster linguine (39 Euros). This was one of the "daily specials" about which we were not informed of the price. Good selection of wines.

9/10Pleasant restaurant close to one of the main streets in Trapani. Looks expensive, but if you come from the Northern part of Europe - it will look affordable. The service was excellent. Food was simply good - some component combinations don’t work too well with each other, but I got the idea - they want to stand out. And they do. All in all it’s a nice place worth visiting.

9.5/10Really good food (risotto and pasta followed by chocolate tart and tiramisu) and a good bottle of local wine. Excellent service - not just for us, but for fellow diners who were also sat outside when a thunderstorm broke. We were under cover and stayed dry, but some others weren't so lucky and were quickly moved inside.

My visit to Tentazioni di Gusto was wonderful! The food was incredibly delicious and of the highest quality, and the service was impeccable. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, which made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates excellent food and top-notch service. Thank you for the amazing experience!

10/10this is an excellent restaurant; wonderful all round, including the loo (well, this matters to some of us!). An imaginative menu catering for all preferences, portions were ideal, not too much or too little, and a very well balanced wine list (no need to go for the second cheapest). Quiet, being off the main drag. All in all, just perfect.

6.5/10My husband and I had a meal on Thursday last. The food was good and the staff were very pleasant. Unfortunately there were no other guests in the Diningroom which meant the staff were standing by, waiting to serve us. There was a staff member working on a computer beside us right in the middle of the restaurant using a dining table as an office desk. Later in the evening a young man which looked like a chef came to sit at the desk and a long discussion ensued. I felt this was quite inappropriate to address another staff member so publicly and also inappropriate in a restaurant setting beside us.

10/10Really nice place sat outside in the beautiful evening weather. An expensive very large lobster (chosen for us, so be careful if you want, a smaller one) prepared beautifully and the best Sicilian style flavours. I am happy to say we got what we paid for. Lovely wine and overall a memorable evening in a lovely place. Also have an aperitif in the rooftop bar next door. Cheers utb

4/10We were disappointed with this restaurant and felt cost did not match value. While the two younger waiters were warm and attentive, the main waiter/ manager was rather abrupt and dismissive. He gave the impression that he had more important things to be doing than serving us! The food was nicely presented but the fish was cold and left a lot to be desired. There are so many restaurants in Traponi with a more welcoming atmosphere and better value for money.

10/10We ate dinner both nights we were in Trapani. The food is fantastic and only outdone by the exceptional service. We had gluten free pasta with eggplant as a starter and sea bass with green beans the first evening. All of the dishes were excellent: fresh, flavorful and cooked/seasoned to perfection. Our 2nd night we returned to have the same pasta as entrees along with fresh green salads. We had a lovely rose and a gluten free cannolo for dessert. Sitting outside on the quiet and pretty side street made both nights just perfect. Highly recommend!

More expensive than other places, but this is a top notch restaurant. Excellent did in a lovely setting with attentive staff (although a few are still learning). We had the crudo to start (wonderful), a very nice ravioli as our primi and we shared the stone fish for our secondi (delicate with a lovely broth). No room for dessert. Wine was ok but inexpensive.

8.5/10This was our first time and we enjoyed it! The staff was attentive and friendly. The oysters were fresh and plump, the conolo appetizer was tasty, and the risotto was the best we every had. We were a little disappointed with the amberjack entre. They offered large live lobsters and they have a very large wine cellar.

Food was lovely as well, although the side dish “vegetables fried with garlic” turned out to be just spinach, which was quite bitter and not very tasty. 2.5/10The restaurant is nice and the food was ok, but we had a very negative experience due to the wait for every single dish. We sat and ordered food at 10:15, but our pasta arrived at 11:50 even if we complained several times with the restaurant staff. They offered us a bottle of wine and a sorbetto, which was a nice gesture. Also: ask about the price of the lobster in advance: we have been charged 240€ for a lobster (120€ per kilo). Overall, an experience that could have been nice but that was spoiled by the way-too-long wait for the dishes!
