8/10The venue was fantastic as well as the service, however, I found that the quality of the food could have been much better. I found that it was saltless and not well seasoned compared to the majority of the restaurants you find in Portugal.

Rangel’s professionalism was evident in every interaction. Shrimp was very good. The bred to butter/olive oil proportion was not correct. Could have given 4 bread rolls, 2 of each instead of 1 seeded and another dark, considering they were quite small while the serving of butter and olive oil as a dip was quite generous. They could perhaps train their staff a bit more on tables as often they appeared confused and brought wrong orders.

4.5/10Inattentive wait staff - left us and another couple alone foe extended periods of time while catering to large group that arrived. Then was mischarged by one waiter, where manager came over with him stating he made a mistake. Very unprofessional staff….do not go here if you want proper service.

6/10The service was good. The wine was well priced and good quality. The starter( prawns) was nicely done, but over priced. The cod for two was dire - tough and stringy, cold, almost inedible. It had probably been left over from lunchtime. The puddings were just about ok, but nothing special. Very disappointing.

7.5/10Lovely location to people watch on Placa da Comércio. Servers very friendly and speak multiple languages. Sadly the food for us let it down. Starters and deserts were pleasant enough without being memorable. The problem came with the main courses. We decided to order two typical Portuguese dishes which had been recommended. The pork in my dish was beautifully cooked, very moist and tender. Unfortunately everything else on the plate was only luke warm. My wife’s duck was so undercooked, it could have waddled out to our table itself. We realised afterwards that our server never enquired how we would like the duck cooking. We had a 50% discount through The Fork and both agreed that we wouldn’t have been happy paying more than that.

10/10Very nice food in a lovely location! Rangel was very friendly and thoughtful while attending us, but this extends to the whole staff, all very nice and friendly! Prices are a bit high, but being in the middle of one of the main touristic points of Lisbon definitely has a play in it! A certain come back with the The Fork discount!

8.5/10Nice little restaurant off the main plaza. I had the duck with sausage rice, my husband had the octopus. Food was great. We sat inside downstairs. Ambiance was a little strange. Tables were sticky. There did not seem to be a dedicated host. People kinda of wandered in and milled about until being told to get a table. There is an upstairs but we did not go up there. Also, they had a great patio with a view of the square and the river. Great for watching the sunset with drinks.
