Really lovely staff and they were so sweet. The restaurant is way too brightly lit and it was quite empty and void of atmosphere. Probably better on the terrace in summer. The food was lovely and it was good value. Not a place to go if you want a cute Portuguese weekend supper.

Delicious food - the menu is not extremely extensive, but what they do cook is excellent. Service was high quality and the location is fabulous.

We ordered the duck magret and a steak. The duck was good, the steak could be better. The waiter was very mean, especially because we booked with TheFork with a discount. When they brought the bill, they first gave it without the discount and we had to ask for it

Excellent food and service. Prawns followed by bacaloa. Generous portions. Not many people in the restaurant so it was a bit quiet but probably down to the weather.

Our booking named the restaurant Newfoundland, finding it was not easy. Anyhow, we had fabulous food, great service and a wonderful time. And good value for money.

The venue was fantastic as well as the service, however, I found that the quality of the food could have been much better. I found that it was saltless and not well seasoned compared to the majority of the restaurants you find in Portugal.

Shrimp was very good. The bred to butter/olive oil proportion was not correct. Could have given 4 bread rolls, 2 of each instead of 1 seeded and another dark, considering they were quite small while the serving of butter and olive oil as a dip was quite generous. They could perhaps train their staff a bit more on tables as often they appeared confused and brought wrong orders.

Inattentive wait staff - left us and another couple alone foe extended periods of time while catering to large group that arrived. Then was mischarged by one waiter, where manager came over with him stating he made a mistake. Very unprofessional staff….do not go here if you want proper service.

The service was good. The wine was well priced and good quality. The starter( prawns) was nicely done, but over priced. The cod for two was dire - tough and stringy, cold, almost inedible. It had probably been left over from lunchtime. The puddings were just about ok, but nothing special. Very disappointing.

Lovely location to people watch on Placa da Comércio. Servers very friendly and speak multiple languages. Sadly the food for us let it down. Starters and deserts were pleasant enough without being memorable. The problem came with the main courses. We decided to order two typical Portuguese dishes which had been recommended. The pork in my dish was beautifully cooked, very moist and tender. Unfortunately everything else on the plate was only luke warm. My wife’s duck was so undercooked, it could have waddled out to our table itself. We realised afterwards that our server never enquired how we would like the duck cooking. We had a 50% discount through The Fork and both agreed that we wouldn’t have been happy paying more than that.

This was our second time coming here in our short visit of five days in Lisbon. We had a good first impression and that's why we decided to go back. Their service and food didn't disappoint.

It's a standard restaurant; the food is adequate but not delightful. Gabriel's service was very good, and the location is undoubtedly privileged in the Praça do Comércio.

Very nice food in a lovely location! Rangel was very friendly and thoughtful while attending us, but this extends to the whole staff, all very nice and friendly! Prices are a bit high, but being in the middle of one of the main touristic points of Lisbon definitely has a play in it! A certain come back with the The Fork discount!
