The white Alentejo reserva (house) wine was exceptional, my main dish (fish) was incredibly delicious. However the entree (crab pie) was nothing special, ok, but that’s about it. I didn’t have desert, only small bites from the deserts my family were having and all of them were disappointing (my family said the same, they said it tasted like pre-packaged deserts). Atmosphere was a bit boring, soulles. The next day I saw there was also another better-looking part at the restaurant, no idea why we were not seated there by the hostess. The waitress that served us was great however, can’t say anything other than that she provided impeccable service.

Food and view are always great here. Service seems to have slipped a bit my last few visits. This time the server was very awkward with us, almost combative. Not a great experience for my out of town guests.

A lovely family lunch with all diets catered for. We had requested a table outside on the terrace but we were told this was not possible due to being a party of 9. This was disappointing but overall the food was good and service efficient.

Bruno, our waiter, is incredible and very helpful and enjoyable to know. The food is wonderful and the view sublime and it is the staff that really makes it unforgettable!

The food and location are great. We have been twice and on both occasions the team looked very stressed which affected the ambience.

We went here for a birthday dinner, 9 people in total. Did expect more from the previous reviews. Was also slow at confirming our reservation so we had to go there beforehand to reserve. Food: The food was inconsistent. 5 people ordered fish and was pleased. 1 ordered vegetarian and was pleased. 3 ordered meat and was disappointed. When we ordered meat they did not ask how we wanted it, and the sirloins was served well done, and the beef loin medium/well done - which was very disappointing. Deserts were good. Service: Low quality but kind people, lack basic understanding of how to serve, what to ask and so on. Missed one of our orders so one of us had to eat after the others since their had to be made when the food came out. Ambience: Nice location with stunning views. Would need to install proper AC since it was quite hot.

Everything was phenomenal! The clams were divine, the dumplings fantastic and the cuttle fish ink rice and shrimp with garlic sauce were outstanding! Pistachio gelato capped off a fantastic meal. The waiter and staff were excellent! Highly recommend!

Went on a weekday in November for lunch. The place was quiet but the service and food were excellent. Best of all, it’s located next to the beach and the view was absolutely unbeatable. Highly recommend it!

Beautiful view and place. Service was friendly and quick. Food was not high standard , simply low budget roughly said. Price-quality not so good. Go for the view but try to eat somewhere else.

Wonderful from start to finish. The sunset over Praia Grande, the excellent espumante, the fresh mussels, terrific fish, lovely wine, friendly and efficient service. We only went because somewhere else had cancelled our booking, but we're so glad we did. Ótimo.

Not having a vegan entree as such, the chef quickly came up with an avocado/dates/caramelized apples ceviche which even appealed to the non-vegans I was having lunch with ! A great kudu to the waiter Carlos Rodrigues who went to great lengths to ensure all was top! Recomend it ...and want to return to try out the other vegan dishes available ????

We have come back to this restaurant and were not disappointed. This is not your typical “hotel restaurant “. The fish was incredibly fresh and the deserts were delicious. Adding the unique view and the chief of staff’s(Sandro Pombo) hospitality, we could have not hoped for a better experience.

Very professional service. We were advised of the fresh items for the day - clams, bream, bass, etc and chose the clams, bream for two and a small mix salad. The fish was presented and served table side - nary a bone to be found - cooked as only the Portuguese can prepare fish! the salad - fresh like just out of the garden and the serving size large to the point - no room for dessert! Great location, food and service!

Once again : PERFECT ! Food is tasty, fresh, and nicely presented. Service is really polite and they’ll do everything to please you. And the view where you can have diner with the sunset or just lunch. Just go and try !
