10/10Terrammare is a stylish restaurant specializing in modern takes on Sicilian seafood. Between us, we had three dishes that were absolute stand-outs: a ceviche that was perfectly balanced, a calamaro with peas and, as a main, a polpo (octopus) with kale, chich pea pureaand a smear of something interesting.

3.5/10Unfortunately this has been probably the worst experience out of our Michelin guide. The first thing we were introduced to is a dirty menu with a long list of items that they did not have, as we pick our wine of course they didn’t have it either. We decided to go with the Sicilian testing menu. We’ve done many tasting manus at different restaurants and we always felt it was the showcase for the chef. This wasn’t the case, the pasta with sardines was so salty it was unpalatable. The food in general wasn’t good at all… the dessert was ok. The service was cafeteria service, their main waitress didn’t speak English which is understandable since we’re in Italy, we made an effort to communicate but it wasn’t reciprocated. They had what it look to us a trainee that spoke Spanish so we tried to communicate through her, since we speak Spanish, but it wasn’t a Michelin star service by any means… first time ever that we walk out of restaurant of this level and we felt “what a bad experience

10/10Our choice was the Chef’s menue. Amaizing how each main ingredient of the different courses was delicate dominant and balanced with the other flavours. A huge surprise was the Blanc de Noire ( harvestet from the slopes of the Etna) - could complete with any top Champagne. Do not miss Terrammare if you artive in Milan.

10/10Attentive and kind service, delicious dishes, maybe not the very best of our dreams but really tasty. Nice decoration and atmosphere, and yet not so many guests. A place for Italians and tourists speaking Italian. We had a very pleasant evening there.

9.5/10Amazing pastas! Tasty dishes across the menu. The seafood pastas, the gnocchi, fish and caponata were outstanding. We also enjoyed the desserts. Strongly recommended.

5/10Food was boring, everything need seasoning and the service was terrible. There were about 6 tables at the restaurant but they only cared about one. I don't know if it was an Italian celebrity or something, but they were vip and all others were left wondering... Felt like I was doing them a favor eating there. Very disappointed.

7/10Good and tasty food, with, as the name of the restaurant suggests, a mix of surf and turf. Limited wine list, with an expected emphasis on wines from Sicily. Modern and stylish design, unfortunately the music selection was more for a bar (rap and the likes) both in terms of choice and level of sound.

9.5/10The Tortola pasta was just amazing. The wine pairing was done really well. A lot of really fresh fish dishes that are going to be very memorable. Service is perfect and staff is friendly. Place is a little bright but overall good.

2.5/10The food was delicious, I asked for the chef to prepare me whatever he wanted and I loved it. When the staff came out for a picture, the male servers assistant groped 2 women out of our group. Our waitress was drinking our wine when she would pour ours. We are 21 year old girls and were completely taken advantage of. We did not say anything because we were terrified and wanted to leave. We felt like the whole staff was teaming up and was on their scheme together. I was about to call the police but I was in a foreign place I have never been in before and was terrified. Completely unacceptable and inappropriate. never go here.

10/10We came with high expectations based on reviews and our expectations were exceeded. Our waitress was very patient with our limited Italian, taking the time to explain dishes as well as translate. She also discussed possible food choices, made thoughtful food recommendations and, based on a discussion of our likes, recommended an excellent wine. The food was extraordinary. Mentioning just a few (there were four of us so we had a variety), the red and white ceviche was inspired, the freshness and quality of the fish exceptional and the accompanying sauce delicate but flavorful - simply mouth watering. The grilled mackerel was cooked to perfection and the accompanying aubergine, a melt in your mouth revelation. I have never before insisted that my dining partners taste an aubergine dish, but this has to be shared. My group focused on the seafood, A sardine pasta, tuna, etc., all perfect, but we had a meat eater among us who went for the cutlet. It was tender, flavorful, perfectly cooked. Desserts were a perfect ending, with an after dinner dessert wine again recommended by our wonderful waitress. I know this review sounds as if it might have been written by the restaurant’s pr person, but all I can say is that after two weeks of touring Italy, drinking many fine wines and eating many very fine meals, all four of us found this food a revelation, a cut above the other many fine meals we had. Go if you can and experience it for yourself!
