We have been to the cut a number of times and always enjoyed it. This visit was not so good. Portion sizes were smaller, the burger came only with chips and no other garnish and the steak I had ordered did not come cooked medium/well as requested which meant it had to be sent back. This resulted in us eating separately which is not ideal. I very much doubt that we will go back any time soon.

Normally we go there with pleasure but tonight they asked us for drinks and served us. They also provided us the menu and for the third time they informed us that some steaks and ribeyes where not available and this when the Cut is a STEAKHOUSE, but we stayed. The food we ordered was good, but not what we initially wanted. Then at the end we ordered an Irish Coffee, but it was serviced on a very unstable plate and it fell over my girlfriend’s dress and top and yes they said sorry but that was it. So please ask in advance what is available and dress in a rain coat.

After previous good visits, we waited along time for everything food service etc, both fillet steaks cooked wrong, had a table booked for a birthday 3 days after & decided to cancel to avoid disappointment

It was Ok, just OK but not remarkable. This was a second visit for us. Our first visit really put us off because our steaks were not cooked at all well and ended up being sent back to the kitchen 3 times and the service then was terrible. We were pursuaded by friends to give it another try. This time the steaks were cooked well but no one in our party felt that the quality of the meat was reflected by the prices. It's not a cheap restaurant so we did expect better quality steak. It was Ok, just not memorable or a place we would want to rush back to because the steak was just pretty average, Service was not great again. There were only two waiting staff on when we went and the place filled up so they were under pressure. It's the little things like always having to try and attract a waiter's attention and then ask several times for everything before it was brought to the table. We left feeling underwhelmed by our second visit. I doubt there will be a third.

Fabulous location. Succulent steak and decent red wine. Enhanced by the fantastic saxophonist who played a good mix of music which also wasn’t overbearing. Only criticism was that the service felt a bit rushed when we first arrived but once the waiters realised we didnt want quick service, they left us alone.

service was excellent, we really don't appreciate loud music when out for a nice dinner. Our steaks were quite tough in places , I can cook better on my plancha at home. Your wine prices are criminally high once you reach the quality range!

The steak in the menu was cold. The pokebowl rice was very cold. The toppings were there, looked great, taste was next to nothing. We were triggered going by the reviews, but we will not go again. We were dissapointed. The waiter was great.
