Food was amazing and atmospherereally nice and cosy, but service lacking. Restaurant was about 30% full, but still "it is crazy busy in the kitchen". Also they told us the desert had no alcohol (for our young child), lucky I tasted it before, as it had strong liquor in there. "Kitchen never told me there is alcohol in there" Improve the service, and you have an amazing restaurant!

My 5th time here and it never disappointed us! Only one point even though it’s outside seating would great to have a non-smoking terrace, dinner was great but we had too many smokers and it kind of spoiled the atmosphere

A surprisingly good dinner. I ordered the duck which was absolutely divine. I'm sure I'll be back to try some of the new alternatives on the menu

really great food and ambience. unfortunately service was poor since our orders were lost multiple times which led to waiting times of over >30 minutes without drinks or dessert despite notifying the personnel. eventually we ordered and delivered our own drinks at the bar. the bill was reduced after we mentioned this so overall would recommend, mostly because of the good quality of the food.

The service was really fast, good mood, amazingly eficient. The drinks are good, the calamar as a starter is simply perfect! Other dishes were ok. The quality of the meat is also very good. No great surprises from the kitchen, but the place is really nice to stay long.

Food arrived cold and had to be sent back, we were given two knives instead of any forks. Table was dirty and had broken glass on it when we were seated. Asked for it to be cleaned and it was merely swiped to the corner

The second I walked in with my group of three the girl at the entrance told me they were fully booked even though there were 3-4 tables (about 12 seats in total) visibly empty before I even had a chance to say hello. I told her we already had a reservation and we were right on time so she got someone else and that guy told me that all the tables I see are free and we could take whichever we want. I just thought that was a bit funny.

Cocktails and English pie were really good! I asked which wine would pair nicely with the main course and the waitress gave excellent recommendations. Chips were a bit pale. Ambiance was very good.

Wide drink selection and quite reasonable prices, great place for drinking with friends. The food was so-so, maybe because we ordered something basic. a steak platter for 2 and their roasted pork belly. We got 3 types of cut but one of them was on the tough side, which was hard to chew. The pork belly was not bad.

While the restaurant looks great the service was very slow. The Brussels sprouts were amazing but the rest was sadly not great. On top of that not everything we ordered was brought to us. When we asked about it we were told it was because the kitchen was a chaos and the chef was angry. I'd say this restaurant is good for a drink and some bites but not for a full dinner

Overall good experience, my 3rd visit within 6 weeks, It must say something right! The Lamb Rib smashed it, my favourite!

Amazing dinner experience with really good and friendly servers. All the food was delicious but the cocktails were even better, I recommend the Rum one!

We had a great time at The Fat Fox. I think it's quite new, and is the "sister restaurant" of The Iron Lady on Pannekoekstraat (which we also love). The Fat Fox has a very good location with a big terrace (perfect for yesterday's sunny evening!). We ordered the rib eye and lamb ribs, along with sweet potato fries and crispy brussel sprouts. All was delicious! The meat was especially tender, juicy and melt in the mouth. Although we didn't have any, we saw they have a good cocktail selection, so will definitely be back to try those sometime! As a British person, I'm also interested in trying their pies and fish and chips too sometime. They also had a nice selection of vegetarian options, so I'll come back with my vegetarian friends. 100% recommend!

We had the most amazing, romantic dinner date here. The food tasted delicious, it's definitely been a few years since we've eaten this great/yummy/amazing! The kitchen staff/chef was also able to cater to my boyfriend's (severe!) allergies well! Really kind and thoughtful of them (especially considering how often things have gone wrong with his allergies at other restaurants). Additionally the waiting staff was very friendly and the overall ambiance of The Fat Fox was lovely - it really did feel like the English countryside!
