A beautiful restaurant on the rooftop, luckily sheltered from the big winds … we enjoyed an exceptional meal, special mention for the octopus, plus a perfect and pretty dessert … and gorgeous grappa (classy glass) … the service was polite and professional too ! Bravo !

We ordered roasted beef and Roman pizza, they are delicious!

Portions were definitely on the small side. Salad was small but great. Burgers were ok, Chips too salty. Steaks were burnt and quite hard to chew. We asked for well done, we got something black and dehydrated. We got charged for two deserts we didn't order and had to go back with receipt. I d be furious if it hadn't been for the fork promotion, that made the price bearable for what we were served. We had to go and pay at the counter, as the bill we asked wasn't coming. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place.

Great food and service. We were seated with a view of the church. It doesn't get much better than this. Discounts applied without any dazzle. We had 2 reservations for 5 and 6 people respectively and were seated right next to each other.

The place is nice, but the food was not at our expectations based on the reviews that we studied before going out to eat. Price-quality did not match

We didn’t want starters but asked for bread basket which never arrived and still charged for it. The main of fillet steak was just delicious ! Small portions but very tasty. I asked for green beens with mine as it only came with creamed potatoes? 🤷♀️ I think they should offer sides on the menu but they don’t. It wasn’t a problem though for them to do it. Dessert was great too.

Great view at sunset and interesting cocktail menu make for a wonderful start to the evening. The rest of the meal was good, but not memorable. Overall, I would go back and try other things.

Tucked away from the noise of the streets, the passing cars, and the endless flow of pedestrians, this place offers a rare sense of calm. The atmosphere invites unhurried conversation and a chance to truly enjoy the moment – exactly what a good meal should be about. The food deserves special praise: the flavors are deep, thoughtful, and respectful of the ingredients. Each dish felt like a small gastronomic revelation. Not for a second did we regret choosing this place – on the contrary, we’d wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for more than just dinner, but a genuine experience.

this rooftop restaurant is a gem. The ambience was excellent. The service was efficient, friendly and top notch. The food was spectacular. Don't miss out on desert! We were advised that they are known for their deserts and we were not disappointed. We had the tiramisu which was outstanding! We will definitely go again if we are back in Rome!

Bad management we ask for ice he said no problem with his ice machine which he showed me a box full of ice but just not help full.

Staff was very nice and careful, great pasta. They also served us with some extra treats, which was very nice of them. Will definitely return next we come to Rome!

This was a 5 minute walk from our hotel. Perfect setting, great food and attentive service. Such a lovely night to be outside.

I booked the reservation because of the pictures and reviews of the rooftop restaurant at the Hive Hotel. As it is January I wasn’t expecting to sit outside but thought I would at least be able to enjoy the view from inside. That was not the case. We were seated in the only open area of the very large, multi-level restaurant that has either no views or the drapes were drawn. In addition to the lack of view there was a flat screen tv collage that showed pictures of the hotel gym and spa. But I can say the service was good and we had an enjoyable time regardless of the lack of view or ambiance.

i come here frequently and it feels very welcoming every time. The service is impeccable. The food is also quite good. it can be a bit expensive but I always manage to apply a discount, either from The Fork or 20% off as a hotel guest when I stay overnight. The terrace is so attractive.

I love this place. I love the service and the rooftop. It was a bit cool on the rooftop and would appreciate some warming lamps around. Otherwise, no other complaints even though the baked potatoes did not arrive with the dish I ordered (the same happened for a nearby table). The food was delicious.

This beautiful rooftop restaurant is in a hotel in the middle of the historic centre. The food is very good and the courtesy of the staff exceptional.

The view from the rooftop was very romantic, with a view of the church from where we were seated. The balcony had a glass wall that helped keep the area warm despite it being an autumn evening. The waitstaff had impeccable service, able to make us feel welcome and taken care, even though they had a large party to attend to at the same time. The seabass I had for dinner was juicy and soft, with the fish's natural flavours coming through with only a light sprinkle of salt. The skin was very crispy too.
