10/10this rooftop restaurant is a gem. The ambience was excellent. The service was efficient, friendly and top notch. The food was spectacular. Don't miss out on desert! We were advised that they are known for their deserts and we were not disappointed. We had the tiramisu which was outstanding! We will definitely go again if we are back in Rome!

5.5/10I booked the reservation because of the pictures and reviews of the rooftop restaurant at the Hive Hotel. As it is January I wasn’t expecting to sit outside but thought I would at least be able to enjoy the view from inside. That was not the case. We were seated in the only open area of the very large, multi-level restaurant that has either no views or the drapes were drawn. In addition to the lack of view there was a flat screen tv collage that showed pictures of the hotel gym and spa. But I can say the service was good and we had an enjoyable time regardless of the lack of view or ambiance.

9/10i come here frequently and it feels very welcoming every time. The service is impeccable. The food is also quite good. it can be a bit expensive but I always manage to apply a discount, either from The Fork or 20% off as a hotel guest when I stay overnight. The terrace is so attractive.

9.5/10I love this place. I love the service and the rooftop. It was a bit cool on the rooftop and would appreciate some warming lamps around. Otherwise, no other complaints even though the baked potatoes did not arrive with the dish I ordered (the same happened for a nearby table). The food was delicious.

The view from the rooftop was very romantic, with a view of the church from where we were seated. The balcony had a glass wall that helped keep the area warm despite it being an autumn evening. The waitstaff had impeccable service, able to make us feel welcome and taken care, even though they had a large party to attend to at the same time. The seabass I had for dinner was juicy and soft, with the fish's natural flavours coming through with only a light sprinkle of salt. The skin was very crispy too.

4/10Not cozy interior, too light, too cold. Sat next to air condition. The duck had a bad aftertaste and came with no potatoes as described. Entrecote too much fat and also without potatoes. Tried to complain, bit did not seem to care.

Beautiful view on Santa Maria Maggiore, courteous service and excellent pasta, expecially the ravioli with bufala and fresh tomato. A very elegant place for important meals, with well trained staff, especially the maitre. Would recommend without a doubt.

+1Amazing place I have been a vegi for many years and the pumpkin mains dish was out of this world. Many respect to the chef was delicious. Waiting staff where attentive and gave you time to decide what to order didn't feel rushed. Just a must visit if in the area.

I had a nice dining experience. Excellent food & ambience. Very accomodating & professional staff. Too bad tho that there was an error with the reservation. But well it’s something that ‘The Fork’ should solve.

Everything about the meal was great, and the oysters were also very fresh. My husband and I spent a pleasant night here. I thought the dinner was over, but there was a little surprise dessert. It was such a wonderful memory.

9.5/10The restaurant is nice, rooftop. The view is not waw, but you are outdoors. The food is really delicious and staff is attentive. We had the veal, the mushroom pasta and the steak. Everything was cooked properly and it had a great taste. Oh, and the cocktails are very good as well!. Recommended for a couples dinner .

10/10We really enjoyed our time at the Hive Rooftop Restaurant. The service was amazing and the staff was very welcoming and supportive with our children. The setting was scenic and the view from the rooftop is very beautiful. The food was amazing as well. We could not be more grateful for the beautiful dinner we had there.

Nice rooftop, part of a recently built hotel. The views from up there unfortunately aren't anything special. Anyway, the service and food was great, so greatly recommended.
