We have been scammed: they will not apply the 50% discount unless your order what they want you to order, or unless your bill is superior to some threshold witch has never been explicit. A part of that, the restaurant was so cold and many people was eating with jacket. If that was not enough, the serving has been ridicolously slow: we spent more than 2 hours to get served 2 appetizers and 3 dishes (note that we only wanted 2 but they forced us to get the third). There’s also something good to be mentioned: the food was good enought. Such a pity those well-cooked dishes haven’t been appreciated due the scam, the cold and the waiting time.

The starters (pakoras) were very good, the main food was fine, I liked that it wasn’t too oily. We stuck to vegetarian dishes, naan’s, and Indus safran rice. However we booked on the fork with a 50% discount. We were informed that the 50% didn’t apply to the main dishes, with the understanding that it would apply to the sides and starters. I told the manager this should have been mentioned on the Fork when booking (other restaurants clearly write exceptions and I went with a vegetarian). He got defensive and told us he has a 6-page contract with The Fork and also told us we could leave if we wanted to. It was a new restaurant for us, so we decided to stay, thinking we’d get some discount on the rest. When the bill came, there was no discount applied at all. The manager tried to blame us and say we misunderstood. But we clearly did not. When I tried to explain what he had initially told us, the manager was incredibly rude. I have never experienced this level of rudeness.

The food is really good. We were sitting outside and a little brise helped enjoying the meal. The waiter explained the dishes very well and he was very nice.

Love to bring my family here, they love the food and the service

My chicken tikka consisted of 3 small pieces of overcooked chicken

The portion was extremely small and very expensive. I wonder if they made the portion smaller since I was getting the Fork discount and didn't get the full price? They charged extra for everything, and all the side dishes costed a fortune as well. I arrived 15 minutes early and the waiter wanted me to modify the Fork reservation in order to "get the discount". I found this a little exaggerated. However, in the end I got the discount.

Unfortunately, our second visit was disappointing. Service was slow (but it always is!) and the curries were dry and the meat overcooked. We had been impressed the first time but probably won’t go back again now. Also, attention! the desserts are not included in any Fork offer, This is a pity, since we had had high hopes after the previous occasion. No draught beer, only 33cl at 5CHF.

We had an early, 1830 reservation. When we arrived Noone was in the restaurant, after many hallo, hallo a guy appeared informing us that his colleagues are on the way and he let us choose table . Another guy taking order didn't seem to speak any language so as expected whole order delivery was a mess. There were dishes missing, wrong items delivered...a rather annoying experience. The food itself was tasty, portions reasonable. Chai was delicious. Fork festival discount was correctly applied. At least one thing we didn't have to ask for.

The food was good and authentic as was the overall atmosphere in the restaurant. The service was competent and friendly however the owner did not apply the 50% discount advertised on the Fork entry- the total bill came to around CHF 170 but was discounted to CHF 101 which is not 50%. Still a good value for 4 people but not what was expected.
The IndusThanks a lot for your visit. It would have been better if you would’ve read the discount in detail as it wasn’t on drinks.

By far the absolutely best Indian dinner we had in many years. A cozy atmosphere. A super friendly service and on to of that perfectly cooked food. No artificial or pre-prepared sauces. Freshly ready made (one could hear that) and certainly taste as well. We couldn’t help but finishing everything. This is not a paid for rating. Just 2 really satisfied customers. For the first but certainly not the last time.

The food was tasty though some portions like the naan were small (while others were generous). Definitely worth it especially with 50% deal.

Nothing went well, the prices of the beverages were not listed on the menu, they asked us to have minimum two dishes in order to benefit of the discount, there was no service, no manager, the toilet was super dirty and no paper, I have videos

Restaurant and food are good actually. However while eating they canceled my the fork booking and eventually gave me discount on what they wanted…. So not a clean and respectful booking……
