10/10By far the absolutely best Indian dinner we had in many years. A cozy atmosphere. A super friendly service and on to of that perfectly cooked food. No artificial or pre-prepared sauces. Freshly ready made (one could hear that) and certainly taste as well. We couldn’t help but finishing everything. This is not a paid for rating. Just 2 really satisfied customers. For the first but certainly not the last time.

2/10Nothing went well, the prices of the beverages were not listed on the menu, they asked us to have minimum two dishes in order to benefit of the discount, there was no service, no manager, the toilet was super dirty and no paper, I have videos

10/10This is a wonderful place. The atmosphere is lovely and opulent. The service was discreet and efficient so we could have a great conversation without feeling interrupted. And the food and drinks were amazing. Lots of choices for different dietary restrictions. A great find!

10/10Best biryani in town, we also had the lamb shank and the butter chicken. Super authentic biryani and shank, butter chicken not so much but still very good. We will definitely be back.

4/10If you go there using a promo, be ready to be welcomed as a beggar. The server will make you feel very uncomfortable. The food is good; however, the rice wasn't freshly made.

4/10Be careful of their discounts as they try and avoid honouring them if they can. Four young girls at nearby table denied the discounts be they were late but could have easily cancelled and rebooked.

2/10I had a reservation with a 50% off and they didn’t want to count it because I was late when he told me that I have the 50% off when I first arrived . Very bad stuff and so much time for the food to come . I really don’t recommend

5/10The food served at the Indus was quite nice and tasty, but the rest of the dining experience was terrible. The plus was the tasty Palak Paneer and nice nan. On the minus side was the dishonesty of the staff there: first the waiter refused to serve us tap water, which is the norm in geneva. we had booked with a 30% discount on the fork app. Realizing that the waiter tried to con us out of it, saying strange things that didn’t make any sense… “vegetarian dishes are not main dishes” and “you haven’t ordered starters”. When we showed him the terms and conditions we read online, he still didn’t agree until we threatened to leave. The last straw came when he tried to charge us 12chf per one small piece of gulab jamun, after telling us that each plate had two. It’s a pity that I had to have this terrible experience when going out with friends whom I met after a long time and we just wanted to have a relaxed evening. The saving grace was the decent food which we all enjoyed. Anyway, I will not go back there.

10/10Nice and warm atmosphere. There were only a few people inside so very intimate. We took two different types of chicken masala, both of them very good, however, they did not include any rice/bread which needed to be ordered separately. We then had a shared dessert with coconut and honey, which was good but it was a good idea to share because it was also extremely sweet. The waiter was very nice and the service was great. With the fork, we paid 25 CHF/each which for Geneva is amazing.

4/10The service was friendly, but it took over an hour for a our mains to arrive. The food was correct but very oily. All 4 guests at the table next to us were watching videos on their phones on loudspeaker.

8.5/10Second time that I came to The Indus and I could confirm my first positive impressions. This time I had Lamb Kahari (sauce with mixed spices) with Rice Pulao (with vegetables) and Naan bread with chili and garlic. It was excellent! And the portion was more than generous! I will definitely come back.

8.5/10The food was good, although the portions are not huge. The service was very good. The restaurant is located in a "colorful" red-light district of Geneva, so be prepared if you walk there to be accosted by street walkers. It was fine for us, but I would have been uncomfortable with children or certain guests.

9/10We love The Indus , we visit this restaurant every time we visit Geneva. Most if the time it impress us by the very friendly welcoming staff and good food. We found it the best during the winter months :) Almost all of the dishes we ordered today were delicious, only the butter chicken was a bit disappointing because we found the chicken somewhat "chewy". Food portions are good, some are enough to share like the beryani. We will always come back If you like Indian food you shouldn't miss it

2.5/10The Indus mix grill that we ordered costed 33 chf and the quantity was 6 tinny pieces of chicken, lamb and shrimps 100 gram total tops. The 2 massala dishes that we ordered chicken and beef were again tinny and costed 29 chf each ! The chicken was ok but the beef was hard as a rock and did not taste well. We could also hear bells (the sound that makes when the timer is off) from microwaves while we were there. Terrible experience

3.5/10Waiter is nice and friendly. Doesn’t help that the food is not good. Starters are good but I had the paneer as main which was 100% not self made and the sauce tasted horrible. Naan tastes like heated and not freshly made. Same for the rice. Disappointing.
