Spacious and friendly bar right next to the Gare de l'Est. For a restaurant in Paris, the placing of the tables is extremely spacious, giving enough room for a stroller or luggage. The service is quick, friendly and (in our case) speaks english very well. There is a departure display for trains and a baby's changing table (at least a counter that can be used as such) next to the toilets. The beer is great, but I can't give a thorough review of the food since we only had a small dessert. That was delicious, though. All in all, a very nice bar/restaurant with well-above-average space and cleanliness for Paris' standards.

Lovely lunch with a friend. The food is lovely and we could noticed that the chef used very fresh products. The serveur was very nice and kind. The manager came at the end of the lunch and asked us how was our lunch experience at The Place to.. a very nice touch to finish a perfect lunch.
