Whenever you eat in a high-end restaurant and have the accompaniment wine selection you expect to be amazed at the skill of the chef(s). However, the next day you 'feel' it: the alcohol leaves you heavy headed or your belly feels the fat content, but this is the price you pay for excellence. HOWEVER, THIS IS NOT THE CASE at Thierry Schwartz- Le Restaurant! For the FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE, I have NOT had an allergic reaction to the wines and the following day, despite the endless courses and large amount of bread, I felt like I was at the spa! I have to add that this was a late-night dinner, 7:30 (19:30) to 11:30 (23:30) and despite feeling very full I did not feel overwhelmed. Moreover, I did not feel ANYTHING the following day other than relaxed and satisfied. Maybe switching to biodynamic wines and organic food we would be finally rid of this avalanche of allergies. A life changing dinner with an ever-smiling and meticulous waitress which embodied her Minnie Mouse tattoo :) A delight!

Superb meal and experience! The menu was creative and delicious! The staff was very knowledgeable on drink pairings with the menu and the wine list was incredible.

Excellent. Perfect. Lovely service. A wine list to die for, reasonably priced. But why is their signature carrot never on the menu whenever we go?

Superbly prepared dishes benefit from relationships with local farmers. 4 of the best Alsatian whites I've EVER tasted. Definitely worth a detour.

Very, very nice place. Food, atmosphere and service were outstanding. There were only a few difficulties in translation but overall they were very helpful to explain the French and translate to English where necessary. While tenuous, their English was much better than our French and, after all, we were in their country. The staff was outstanding and the restaurant was charming.
