10/10Always a friendly face greets us when we arrive and lets us choose our table! The food is very good and although we have been 4/5 times now the menu hasn't changed. However, the items that we have had constantly have always been delicious. The nice surprise is that the bill arrives and we have all agreed that the bill does not match the food - the food is so good, delicious, plentiful and not expensive. We will continue to return - I would say it's now our go-to restaurant when we just want to pop in somewhere!

9.5/10Always a great experience for food and service, had the Prato do dia and the fish was cooked perfectly, risotto as well and grilled veggies. The server suggested a wine from the region which was reasonably priced and very good. Highly recommend, only wish there was window for air circulation as it was just a bit warm but nothing uncomfortable where I wouldn’t go back, it was a warm day!

10/10We had an excellent dinner with friends, the meal was delicious and beautifully presented, especially the strawberry dessert. The service was excellent and friendly. Thank you, Joao and his team, we had most enjoyable evening.

10/10The service here is always excellent. We enjoyed the food very much especially the tuna tataki. A little disappointed as there was no chocolate cake!! But it's a definite must go to restaurant!

9.5/10Great food for omnivores and non-carnivores alike with one vegetarian and one vegan option. Lovely friendly service. Reasonably priced. BUT... bring cash or have PT MBWay. No credit cards, local or international.

10/10It was our first time eating at the restaurant. It was lovely and lively inside with lots of happy diners. The food was delish with a modern twist on Portuguese food with some of the dishes. Would highly recommend it.

9/10Good quality dishes, with nice execution. Service was gracious, attentive and timely. The vegetarian choice (mushrooms and risotto) my husband had was interesting and well-executed. The space is a bit loud once full, but that didn’t subtract from the enjoyable experience for our group of six.

10/10Went to dinner with friends. Each of us had a different entree. All 4 meals were excellent. Well prepared, well presented and delicious. I highly recommend Ti Ascencio for any dining experience you are desiring.

10/10Our first visit to their new location in Caldas but the food and service were as excellent ever. All three courses were beautifully presented and mouth-wateringly delicious. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant for great food at very reasonable prices . However, be aware that at present they do not accept cards, it is cash only, which caught us out.

10/10The service staff were very friendly and welcomed and served us (and other customers) with smiles throughout our dinner. We decided on a jug of wine and it was really good wine from Alentejo. We ordered fish soup, pork cheeks with mashed potatoes and sirloin steak with mushrooms and fries. All were flavorful including the very tender pork cheeks. The total bill came to below 50euros which we deemed very reasonably priced for the quality of the food. Overall a great dining experience and we will certainly be back !
