This restaurant is a nice surprise. Nothing out of the ordinary from the outside and a bit underground but inside a warm atmosohere, friendly and well prepared staff, lovely waitress and great food....the freshest, cooked in an interesting and original way. A few streets away from the tourist attractions yet a local feel.

Amazing food, best we had in Rome. Fish carpaccio was so fresh and tasty, grilled seafood was super good and tiramisu was to die for. Service was very nice but a bit stretch. Very familiar place, I would love to go back!

Food was great, but the chef yelled at us for not wanting to buy water. She said my water bottle is going to send me to the hospital and forced us to buy water. She got really angry and made a huge deal. Not a single place in Italy has forced me to purchase water. Very strange interaction and made the rest of the meal uncomfortable.

There is construction on the building and the outside impression was concerning, but walked downstairs to a delightful location and a warm and friendly greeting from our hosts. The shrimp appetizers were sweet and tender as if they were harvested with the hour. There were 6 in our party and each raved about their entree. I would wholeheartedly recommend to everyone.

The pasta was perfection (gnocchi that night) and the wine she suggested that I would never have tried otherwise was amazing. You would never believe such a beautiful little restaurant was hidden away on this street.

The food was fabulous! Make the effort to get to this restaurant. The owner/chef/waitress was wonderful and just added to the charm of this place.

Wonderful evening and amazing food and atmosphere. Only here for a weekend but hope to return before we leave. Special place highly recommend.

We had to prove our booking. Didn’t seem to be expecting us. Food really delicious. Main courses - seemed to have only prepared half our main courses. Adults had fully finished (would have gone cold if we had waited) before our teenagers dishes arrived - they did realise and came back to check what they ordered. Really difficult to find a waitress to gain dessert menu. Gave up on dessert in end and went to pay - again couldn’t find anyone to get bill to table so waited at counter. We noticed our original waitress seemed to be in kitchen cooking. Maybe a bad / understaffed night? First meal of holiday where we didn’t tip service. Such a shame, they were lovely staff when we saw them at beginning of meal.

I wish I could speak Italian to leave a proper review. This restaurant was spectacular in every way. We were a party of 6 including a teen and we all left feeling fabulous!!! They helped us make choices and everything recommended was perfect. This family from New England would return in a heartbeat. Authenticity at its finest. Grazie, Ciao Ciao♥️

Found this gem of a restaurant nearby and it did not disappoint! Probably some of the best Italian cuisine during our stay in Rome. The food was so homemade and especially the gnocchi which was so good. Great service with help for English tourist.

I have found both of my dishes extremely oversalted. My partners dishes were not overly salty, so it might be a hit and miss. We have asked the server to recommend us a wine, she has recommended the most expensive wine on the menu, which has also disappointed, a red wine with some sort of weird carbonation and an iron aftertaste. We have also had to remind the server to bring us the wine because she forgot (there were two couples including us at the restaurant). All in all, we were expecting more for the price, therefore we would not come back.

The food was exceptional. Cacio e pepe and carbonara spagetti=love. The prices are a bit higher tgan you expect

The stuffed zucchini flowers (nice large portion) is so special and different and tasty. Every dish was perfect and would order each one again. Highly recommended!

The service was really nice and warm, the food was delicious - we tried appetizers and the good rated carbonara and we really really loved it! We would definitley come back!
